    We purchased this vacuum three years ago and it worked for about a year. I don't think that's long enough for $200. I wish we would have bought a Dyson. We drove 20 miles to have it repaired last year (and paid for the repair) and now it is broken again. Called Sears for help, they said too bad the warranty is over after a year. They suggested I take it to a store and pay (AGAIN). There customer service is disgraceful and they could care less that my $200 vacuum only worked for one year. I will never purchase an applicance from them again.

    I had a kenmore vacuum before and I loved.  When it was time to replaced I looked for the same model but they no longer make it.  The salesperson told me that this was the newer version of the vacuum I had.  This vacuum is a big disappointment.  The suction power is good but the outside is very cheaply made that it feels like a cheap toy.  The door to the vacuum bag has to be slammed closed for the latch to stay fasten.  I just bought this vacuum last month and the brush roll is not working.  I am searching for my receipt and I pray 30 days has not passed so that I may get my money back.

    Heavy, clunky, not durable,NOISY, poor pick up

    I've been complaining about this upright ever since I bought it!  It is an extremely heavy machine - too heavy for use on stairs ; the handimate which was included NEVER has worked -  now after only 3 yrs of ownership, the carpet suction has failed.   Extremely noisy.  I have nothing good to say about it.  I will buy a canister;  I don't even want to pay to have it diagnosed and repaired because I dislike it that much!  Will save the money and put it into a new machine.

    Heavy, clunky, not durable

    Do not buy this vacuum cleaner. The brush motor broke after two years and it costs almost as much as the vacuum to replace. When it did work it was very heavy and cumbersome to use. I was very disappointed as I grew up with Kenmore brands but this product does not live up to the reputation.
