Shark  NAVIGATOR LIFT-AWAY PRO VACUUM

Works well on floors, carpet too but its no Kirby.

I just got this vacuum and used it. Pros: -sucks very well! -easy to use Cons: - a bit heavy - somewhat uncomfortable to use when using the other accessories - wish the hose extended a bit longer when using the accessories Overall, a decent vacuum. According to it, it vacuums floors too. That's a plus! I wish it was a bit lighter, especially when detaching it.

I just bought this vacume, used it once am returning it. It is hard to manouver it almost pulls you forward. When you take the extention wand out to use the attachments the vacume falls over. because the tubing is too short. If you lift the canister out it is just a pain to carry it around while your trying to use the attachments, plus its heavy. Last I have one room in my house that has an area rug that is little bit of a higher pile. It would not even vacume it at all. As soon as it went on the rug the the red light came on and it stopped suctioning. Do not recemmed this vacume at all.

I have 8, yes 8 vacuums. This is by far the best! It trumps Kirby, Dirt Devil, Bissel, Dyson, etc. We have 3 shed crazy dogs that track in dirt like its their job. The Shark blew me away! Carpets, floors, stairs are finally OCD Clean! I'm so happy! I registered just to review this so positively. Yay! Seriously, get this if you're hesitant, you'll be as thrilled as I am with this purchase!

PROs: -Attractively designed, sleek white body. -Lightweight, and glides across any floor effortlessly. -Extremely powerful suction ability. -COMPLETE SEAL technology (British Allergy Foundation seal of approval). -Extra-large easy-empty dustbin. -Lifetime (washable) filters. CONs: -Super top-heavy---when using any accessories, with the handle detached, you will find yourself using both arms...one to maneuver the handle, and the other to either hold the vacuum in place, or literally "hold" the vacuum (as if using it in Lift-Away mode). -The foam filter gets dirty very quick and must either be (gently and carefully) hit against an object outside to release the dust, or simply washed. I could not wait the recommended 3-months to wash out the foam filter and wound up washing it after only 2 or 3 weeks. -You will most likely find yourself cleaning out the brush-roll by hand. -Does not do well on long shag carpeting. Overall, I still feel the many PROs outweigh the CONs.

Very Light, easy to use.

We love the feature to take the canister of and use it for the stairs. This vacuum has a super strong suction for it's size and I was suprised how well it cleaned up the dog and cat hair.

It is a quality item and will recpmmend to all.

It has good suction, easy to manuever and the detachable base makes it easy to do stairs. The only thing I am not thrilled about is the detachable hose. It is part of the handle and the angle is very awkward when trying to get cobwebs and overhead vacuuming.
