My Dyson Ball Upright Vacuum moves with ease March 26, 2011
I Love my Dyson Vacuum and so do my kids. My 2 year old son is crazy with cleaning and every time I turn the vacuum on he is right there wanting to help. Where it is so lightweight he can do that and the ball makes the vacuum just glide across the carpet. I would definitely recommend this to anyone.

Dyson ball's are heavy and akward March 02, 2011
I absolutely HATE it. Here are the reasons:
- It's heavy - instead of two back wheels supporting the weight, it centers the weight on the ball and therefore makes my arm support the rest, I HURT after vacuuming. My back hurts, my arm hurts, it's just very unpleasant. I now hate vacuuming with a passion and put it off as much as possible.
- It doesn't hold the same amount debris as the original - I have to dump the canister twice as much.
- The pet is no different from the the non pet besides being more expensive except you get a stupid attachment that doesn't actually have anywhere to rest on the vacuum and you must store it separate so it always gets lost.
- It's IMPOSSIBLE to vacuum small rugs - the ball pulls the rug so you have to stand with one foot on each side of the small rug and move the vacuum sideways even then it doesn't do a good job.
- It doesn't suck as well going forward or around curves totally defeating the reason for a ball.
- The telescope arm is much cheaper then the original and is very awkward to get to come out.
- This vacuum was very expensive compared to other brands yet I really think it's the worst vacuum on the face of the planet.
It doesn't loose suction but this vacuum sucks literally and figuratively.

Dyson 25 animal vaccum cleaner is awesome January 02, 2012

Performance,no bag,The Design makes it easy to use.,lightweight,great price for quality,Easy to maneuver,Sucks great,worth the money,Excellent at picking up pet hair,This Dyson is a great Vacuum CleanerWe did a lot of research on this one before we bought it. We went to the store and the clerk was fantastic on showing us all about the floor model. We brought one home, put it together and have loved it from day one. You can't believe the amount of dirt in your carpet until you get one of these cleaners. I had a canister and hated to vaccum. Now with the dyson I actually enjoy it. I have had rainbows and kirby's in the past so it had to be good to stand up against them. No disappointment there. Although it would be nice if the cord was just a little bit longer I don't have to go from plug in to plug in. We have no regrets and very happy with our purchase.

Pricey,hand held tube not easy to use,can't be used under furniture,attachments not really user friendly,Directions for use not clear,cumbersome,takes two people to clean the stairs,lackluster performanceI expected more suction, but it doesn't seem to pick up kitchen crumbs or pet hair any better than my old Kenmore canister. Movement is easier for an unright, but I preferred the smaller, lighter power head of the canister. I don't like the hose for the stair and long reach use. I feel like I'm fighting it all the time. It wants to retreat back to it's normal state and I have to pull hard to get it to stretch. It often pulls the vacuum along and that's a pain because the reach is very short. I can't just change from roller brush to suction hose with one flick of the foot. Now, I have to stop and pull pieces out and put them on before I can continue.
I do enjoy dumping the dust out because it's fun, but I feel like I have to empty it every time I use it because I can see all the dust and crumbs through the clear canister and it's just yucky sitting in there. So now clean my vacuum every time I use it instead of just putting it back in the closet. Seems like more work, even if it's kind of fun.
I will probably enjoy the fact that I can just wash the filter and not have to buy expensive filters, but that has yet to be determined.
If I could have test driven it first I probably would not have bought it.

PriceyVacuuming is just part of my daily cleaning. We have 4 kids, 2 dogs, and a lot of DIRT!! Thankfully we splurged and bought a Dyson because it cleans EVERY inch of my carpet, AND allows me to go around toys and dog bones. I also love that I can go over different surfaces without making any equipment adjustments. Cobwebs in corners and blinds are also easy to clean. Vacuuming is not the funnest job, but Dyson makes it a whole lot easier.I would say just TRY this vacuum, but really you should just BUY this vacuum because you'll LOVE IT!!
