Built to Last
We have had our Kinmore Contertop microwave oven for years and we have alway had a great experiece with Kenmore microwaves. The house we purchase came with a built in microwave but we kept our Kenmore anyway. The other microwave quit working after 18 months of our moving in but our Kenmore is still going. I have had experince with other brands at work and they don't hold up like my Kenmore. The look of this one is nice too. I like the black and yes it shows some fingerprints, but white shows dirt and stainless shows fingerprints too. This is a great microwave that will serve you for years.

This microwave cooks great ...BUT... the venting system for letting the steam out doesn't exist! If you use it daily...as we do... after 8 months the back bottom INSIDE started to rust...the outside "under carriage" is rusted...and the INSIDE bottom of the door is bubbled with rust...all a good indication that the steam from cooking is NOT ESCAPING and just dwells in there...:( When you spend the money on a Kenmore...I expected much better quality...

I like it. It is not to big and it does the job. Large plates fit inside along with large tupperware. Not to much noise and it has a pull door which is ok. I don't like that when I am done, it only beeps one time. My old microwave gave a couple of beeps notice to let me know when it was done.

Trusty Little Powerhouse
I had this microwave for 10+ years, through at least 5 moves. It is small and compact, so works well for tight spaces/small kitchens. Likewise, the cooking space is not large, so don't expect to defrost your 20-lb. Thanksgiving turkey in it (which I deducted one star for). That said, it heats well and lasted until I decided to give it away during my last move, a choice I now regret.
I would recommend this product to a friend.
