    Great Kenmore Microwave for the Price!!! January 06, 2011

    I have had this microwave for a year now, a great microwave for a small family (<=5). At the price of $60 what more could you ask of Kenmore? I haven't have any major problem with this microwave over the last one year, it has done all I've asked of it. I would definitely recommend this microwave to anyone. One thing to note though, after some months of constant use, it looses power and what used to warm/cook in 2 minutes might require 3 minutes!

    Too light weight and does a horrible job with popcorn. October 07, 2010

    This machine is much too light.  It doesn't have the push button to open the door, you have to grab the handle and pull and the entire microwave comes with it!  The top of the microwave gets very warm so I wouldn't store anything on it.  I also miss the quick start button that was on my old one.  It does a horrible job with popcorn.  My old microwave, that was also a .7 Kenmore, did a fantastic job with popcorn snack bags - only 1.35 min and it was done perfect.  This one takes over 3 minutes and it's either overcooked or under popped.  Wouldn't get this again.  Kept it because it's the size we need for the space we have.

    A lot bigger than I expected. Just does fit on one of my countertops. And very heavy as well. Wouldn't trust a flimsy stand to support it. Does work great. Cooks food evenly. Is large enough you could probably cook about anything in it . Not a space saver but a well- worth it appliance.

    best little micro ever, cooks fast and evenly. very easy to clean, like the compactness of it. fits easily on the counters. simple to use, would have done handle a little bigger.

    Two to three weeks into the purchase of this item, it caught fire! I attempted to make ramen noodles and smelled burning and it was this microwave. It also did minor damage to the counter top upon which it sat. I did return it to Sears without any problems.
