Beautiful Microwave... July 21, 2009
We upgraded our kitchen to stainless. We purchased this microwave with the in wall trim kit. It fits perfectly in the place of my old microwave. It is easy to use and very quite. Cooks evenly. Very large capacity. Compliments my new GE Profile Oven. My kitchen looks beautiful thanks to GE.

Microwave caught fire October 07, 2009
I purchased this microwave in August of 2007 (the sticker inside says it was manufactured in March 2007) in Sept 2009 it caught fire. I was warming up a cup of water, heard a pop and looked inside to see flames coming out of the upper right side vent. I called GE and they apologized but said that is was not covered. I think a 2-yr old unit that caught fire and a company that won't stand behind it speaks volumes about both. Buyer beware!
