Internet picture looks better than real life February 24, 2007
I looked for a microwave to match my other stainless steel appliances w/the requirement that it be under 12" tall to fit a specific cabinet. This one looked promising but unfortunately, the door is covered with a cheap-looking piece of plastic material that gives the unit a 'cheesey' look. Since this was a special order, and I did not want to settle for a unit with less power, I've decided to bear with it's looks. My recommendation is to try to view units in real life before purchasing as the pictures are a little deceptive.

Why Bother? November 19, 2007
We had this microwave for two weeks, and it worked fine. It really looks good. The first time we set the timer for over 15 minutes, the turntable motor overheated and the unit shorted out. Nothing like burnt electrical wiring to give a pleasing, flavorful aroma to your half cooked food. We thought maybe it was a fluke and we should exchange it for a duplicate, but why bother taking a chance on another lemon? We returned it, went down the road and got one for less than half the price. Workin' great.

I bought this 6 months ago, it still heats food well, but it is very loud, sounds like there is a vibration in the motor; and makes me wonder how much life it has left. The door has started to have issues staying closed. The front is not truly stainless, and is kind of cheap looking. The number keys are very small and lined up in two rows, 1-5 and 6-0, rather than the typical set up. Overall not pleased with my purchase, and would not recommend this product.

Like the title says, I received this microwave as a gift. And at first, I wasn't too sure if I wanted a stainless steel microwave, but honestly, it's one the most amazing gifts I have ever had. Not only is it amazingly durable, but it's also very attractive and adds class to any kitchen. This is definantly worth the money. Though it's better as a gift. :)
