Kenmore  Bagless Compact Canister Vacuum

Does not work well. The vacuum suction is horrible.

The suction is good, but requires too much cleaning to keep it from getting clogged up. The wand is a piece of junk and cracked within the first week of using, and the head is poorly designed to only pick up what gets routed to the middle of it. I would never recommend this to anyone. Surprised because I have had a Kenmore previously that I loved, and that lasted 10 years.

This vacuum is light and small, but packs a powerful punch, making vacuuming my bare floors very easy and fast.

This was bought for a small resale store in January. I liked the fact that it was small and light weight, but after several uses the suction, well...sucks! Just emptying the dust bin is not enough as it keeps getting clogged up. My husband had to disassemble the cansiter and blow it out with a high pressure hose just to get the clog out. Don't want to deal with this on a regular basis. The floor assembly head is not efficient. Forward is fine, but when going backwards the front of it lifts right of the floor and drags a bit. The saying is right "You get what you pay for".

The vacuum starts off well, but then, after less than a month, gets clogged up with pet hair. Unfortunately, the design is such that it appears that the dust bin will have to be completely disassembled to remove the clog. If the top of the dust bin was easily removed, this would not be such a problem.

I had a magic blue from Kenmore for 10 years. It was probably the best vacuum for bare floors. It finally broke. This was the only vacuum that resembled what I had. It's fu$#ing horrible!!! The floor attachment has these stupid bristles that raise and lower. When raised they clog up with hair dust ETC... or you can lower the bristles so it basically scratches the **** out of the floors. The canister doesn't even fill because everything gets stuck right before it reaches the canister. Do not purchase this POS! I wasted $70.00 on this. I really hope Kenmore reads these reviews... You used to make an amazing higher quality bagged vacuum named Magic Blue. Was perfect for bare floors. The bare floor attachment had small wheels on the bottom. You really need to re think this "replacement" it's FU##ING HORRIBLE!!!

Blew up after a few weeks.

I have had 3 of these in the past and loved them but the new one does not work well on carpet. I would not recommend this vacuum.

Do not use on carpets. Other that that, It is wonderful! I love it, especially in my huge kitchen and garage.

I've used bagless cannister vacuums since 1997 and have always found the performance superb. Not the case with this vacuum. I returned the first one I purchased thinking maybe it was defective, but I have used the newly replaced vacuum only twice to find the same problem. The debris collects in the center cylinder instead of flowing to the bagless cannister. Eventually, the thermal control will shut off the vacuum, and there is nothing in the cannister. I don't recommend this vacuum. I have read other reviews stating how great it is, but I'll not try a third one.
