Kenmore  24'' Built-In Dishwasher w/ Stainless Steel Tub - White  ENERGY STAR®

Have had this dishwasher for about a year and have been happy with the quietness and the ability to wash. However, there is a problem with the upper rack. The rack is a rather loose fit and the left side rail pops out of the wheel assembly if you're not super careful when pulling or pushing the rack. It has actually fallen three times and broken dishes. Well, a few weeks ago it stopped draining, so I had the repair guy come out. He said the pump is fine and he cleaned out the drain in the wall, He said the wall drain is clogging. Well, it now drains sometimes, but not all the time. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt for now and I'm going to reroute the drain hose to the disposal to see if that fixes the problem. While he was here though, he also replaced the left side rail assembly for the top rack. Well, now it's worse. It tries to pop out almost every time I pull the rack out. I'm a bit disappointed in the quality of the new appliances in general. Hope it gets better!

We are so pleased with our new dishwasher. It is so much quieter and cleans very well. Our old one was quite old and so loud, we could not watch TV in the living room without turning up the volume.

We bought this machine about a week ago. It is much quieter than our old dishwasher. The normal cycle takes under 2 hours with no dry cycle selected and things come out very clean. When using the 1 hour cycle option I've found some gummy white residue that takes a bit to get off, but I use the normal cycle more often. We bought this stainless look instead of stainless steel because we have children and didn't want fingerprints. The front is closer to stainless finish than others I've seen, and fingerprints wipe off easily with dishwater. We are very pleased with this purchase.

This washer does a fantastic job of cleaning the dishes. Unfortunately after about 10 days I had trouble with the rack not staying on track. It was covered and no issue with Sears fixing it, but shouldn't need tracks replaced on a dishwasher less than 2 weeks old.

Well, I installed it a couple of weeks ago. It's been working flawless but the best thing about it is how quiet it is. First time we started the dishwasher we had to check to make sure it's working it was so quiet!

I have now had this dishwasher for 3 months and am very happy with it. The long wash time (common to all high efficiency models) is not a problem, as I just push the "smart wash" button before I go to bed, an weak up to clean and dry dishes. (I don't use the "heat dry" option -- the dishes are always dry on their own.) Stuff I like: Whisper quiet Dishes are very clean (I do scrape or rinse, although not nearly as much as with my previous dishwasher). Light plastic ware does NOT get tossed around . Adjustable top rack. Very large utensil rack with handle, easy to pull out for unloading. Very spacious interior layout. I also opted to buy the extended service warranty from Sears, adding to the cost. No problems thus far, but something to consider along with installation & delivery as part of overall price.

washer cleans very good and gets the water very hot. used cascade with dawn. no spots on wine glasses or dishes, pots and pans so clean you can see all the scratches in none stick. left a litte water in the washer after dry time, dishs and pots are dry. very quite.

We purchased an earlier version of this model in 2010. It worked extremely very well for 2 years, but now fails repeatedly. A Sears repairman indicated that steam from wash cycles enters the control panel and ruins the control unit. (I have had to replace 2). Also had a pump unit that failed, causing a basement flood. Unless you are content with replacing your dishwasher after 3 years, avoid these Kenmore models.

Our previous Roper dishwasher sounded like a jet engine. This model cleans well and is really quiet. We love it!
