It really is great!
We bought this the first week of October 2012 after having a late 90's KitchenAid washer finally go out. I have to say that we could not be happier with this dishwasher! The cleanliness of the dishes and silverware was superb. We had gotten used to seeing brown spots on the silverware and white streaks on glasses, but not anymore! Also this machine is VERY quiet. We are also happy with the wide range of cleaning cycles as well as the adjustable features in the racks. All in all I'd say I don't think you can find a better dishwasher for the price. Honestly, I think the higher priced models do not have anything on this dish washer, so I have to say, great product, great price!

I HATE THIS DISHWASHER
This dishwasher does not hold enough dishes to worry about washing. My previous dishwasher (a Maytag) could hold large cookie sheets on the sides of the bottom, but this one is too low between racks. If I fill the bottom with plates, then slide the rack in, all the plates fall forward against each other making it impossible to clean them, So I have to reach in and stand them up again. My dessert bowls or small salad bowls do not fit conveniently, and I can only get about 4 of them in the dishwasher in the space that should hold 10 or 12. The glasses in the top rack keep falling over, and do not fit nicely in the place they should go. There is very little flatware space. The designated places to hold individual forks or spoons are too narrow for the handles of my flatware, and my flatware handles are not unusually wide. Don't waste time on the Turbo Jet Feature. When you set something back there, you lose space where other things could go. And it takes several hours to wash using the turbo jet setting. I only use the one-hour wash because I dont have time for a 4-hour wash since the other half of the dishes are waiting their turn. The one hour wash is not energy efficient but I just cant do this all night long. This machine will not hold a 9 x 13 baking pan standing on the side because the space is only about an inch and a half instead of two inches. I did not have high blood pressure until I bought this piece of junk. Skip it get a Maytag with a big basket.

Good decision!
We made this purchase after our one year old dishwasher refused to operate. We have been very pleased with the way it cleans. Our old one left residue on the dishes even though we practically pre-washed them. Now they come out sparkling clean. It runs very quietly as well. So far we are very happy with our purchase.

Love Love Love this dishwahser
I went shopping originally for a Kitchenaid dishwasher, but upon looking at reviews i chose this one. It is quiet, holds lots of dishes and the bottom rack holds large dishes or pots (the top shelf is adjustable My dishes are cleaner than they have ever been. I would recommend this to anyone. The price was right also, got it on sail.

not as simple as the old one
My old dishwasher had a few buttons and a dial. It washed full force every time. This one is energy conscious and washes the way it wants to. I am getting white residue that the book says is hard water...never had that problem before. Unless you are very specific in the settings sometimes it does not start and it is so quiet you do not know it until you go back a couple of hours later...ps the old one only took about 40 minutes, this one takes hours. We have had it 10 days and had a service call and 2 nites where it did not run. You better read and re-read the instructions because it is not very intuitive.

I just purchased this Kenmore dishwasher as I wanted to replace my 23 year old kenmore, I had to keep checking to see if this washer was working as I couldn't hear it at all, unbelievable how quite, my old dishwaser was so loud we had to put volume on our TV up to 38 to hear our programs. My dishes and utentials came out spotless, I just love this dishwasher.

Does what it is supposed to...quietly
May last dishwasher was a Kenmore and needless to say it had been a long time since I purchased a dishwasher. I am a light user and this updated model has been great. It is surprisingly quiet and large inside. I can now wash cookie sheets and pots and pans. The turbozone zaps the dirt right off.
