Will not clean dishesWe had this dishwasher two weeks and returned it. At first, only the dishes in the top rack would come out clean and all the dishes in the lower rack would still be dirty. We rinse our plates and whatever food was left on after rinsing was still left on the plates AFTER going through a normal wash cycle. The turbo zone cleaning DOES NOT work. I had a pan soaking in hot soapy water then placed it in the dishwasher facing the turbo jets and ran the Turbo Zone wash cycle . The pan looked exactly the same as it did before I put it in the dishwasher. After a week, the dishes on the top rack were coming out with a film over them and food particles plastered to them that were not on the dishes before they went in. We had a repairman come out to inspect the dishwasher after only owning for a week and a half and there was no defects with any parts. The machine just did NOT clean dishes at all. Very frustrating for the money spent with all the extras that do not work. This one definately had to be returned.

I bought this dishwasher Feb 09, since then we have had the repair man out 3 times for the same issue, " thermal fuse" And the same issue happened again yesterday, 3/4/10.... the time before that was 12-1-09....So I called the service center and they told me that it would not be covered because it was 4 days over the parts warranty....
I am not happy with this product, nor am i happy with customer service....
So this will be the 4th time for the same issue, I think Sears should step up and take care of their customers, and quit sellings products that have issues, this one obviously has issues!!!

tine tips rush quickly/easily,dishes not always clean,silverware basket fragileWe have owned our Kenmore Ultra Wash dishwasher a little over a year; during that time we've had to disassemble the spray arms and clean out junk several times. We've also experienced times when bits of food appear to have been strewn about the top rack and dried onto our dishes; this seems to be unrelated to the spray arm needing to be cleaned. Our silverware is being spotted because of rust spots that have been appearing on the tine ends of both the top and bottom racks. And our silverware basket has broken in several places on the bottom, allowing the silverware to fall through the bottom when we pick it up. In summary, it just doesn't seem well made. However, it is quiet and at least 85% of the time the dishes come out clean. Still, we expect more and we are not happy customers.
