    Good features for the cost October 14, 2008

    Overall I think this was a good purchase considering it's lower price as compared to other diswashers. Here are the Pro's: Easy to self-install; relatively quiet wash cycle; sharp look & features; and racks hold plenty of dishes for one wash. Here are the Con's: If you want an ultra quiet DW don't buy this one; lots of plastic---if you want metal or granite looking inner racks you won't like this DW.

    I was excited to finally have a "tall tub" dw - one that I wouldn't have to fight to get my cookie sheets, kettles & even dinner plates to fit in. First load of dishes included a cookie sheet. Guess what....it was tall enough to accommodate the cookie sheet, but the silly rack is NOT LONG ENOUGH to fit the cookie sheet! and I can't get two dinner plates to fit end to end! ARRRGGGHHHH!!! can you say "frustration"? What good is the tub being extra tall, if its 2" shorter end to end? And "quiet" is not the word I would use to describe this machine.

    This dishwasher works great. We purchased it twice for each of the last 2 houses we lived in. Smart wash is a nice feature. Found it beneficial to use rinse aid and run the water until hot in the sink before starting. If Momma ain't happy - nobodys happy. Momma is real happy with this one! :-)

    I truly enjoyed my new dishwasher in the beginning. Although the first month I had it ,the transmission had to be replaced. A few months later the electrical pannel had to be replaced. So far it has had to be replaced 3x at my expense. The warranty had ran out ofter 5 yrs. The dishwasher is only 8 years old, my old kenmore lasted 15 years before we had to replace it. I love the washer, just tired of having it repaired at my expense.

    This dishwasher is great. I wish I had replaced my old one sooner. It is so much quieter. The dishes come out perfect. I followed the directions and use rinse aid and less detergent. I have had no problems.
