Very happy with my new Whirlpool dishwasher. It looks beautiful, it's very quiet, and dishes came out very clean. I don't know why the last person said you can't tell when the cycle is over. You can't miss the glowing blue light at the right top corner of the machine. I love how you can move the utensil holder to 3 different spots. The top shelf is easy to adjust. Easy to rearrange different size dishes. And the independent installer says he hasn't had to do any warrenty work on this model. Great buy for the money!
This Whirlpool is the quietest dishwasher I have ever owned. However the specifications say self-cleaning filters, but the first page of the owner's manual suggests you clean the upper and lower filters once a month. The covers on the silverware basket are useless if you have silverware that has any size to the handles. Also, when the basket is used in the door, you can only fit small spoons and forks in the left side of the basket, since any handles longer than that don't fit under the detergent dispenser. I wish I had saved the basket from my old dishwasher to place in one of the trays. The tines in the lower tray are flimsy; that when I put a Corningware dish in front of the powerscour jets, it flexes them out of place. I find the cleaning abiity to be average.

Purchase couple weeks ago when Sears had a great coupon and low price. Got it for $460 before taxes. Installed two weeks ago. Wife and I love the new dishwasher. Does a great job on all items although we tend not to wash large pots in the dishwasher very often. Tried the one hour wash and it did a great job so we use that quick setting. Without the short one hour wash the dishwasher takes 1 hour and 45 minutes to complete a load on sensor setting. Stainless steel tub and nylon racks are huge step up from the 17 year old Whirlpool that this one replaced. Everything comes out totally dry on the high setting and almost everything is dry on the Eco dry setting.

We had a whirlpool quite partner II we bought two years ago. It broke so we purchased this one. Picked it up Monday and used for two days and very disappointed with it. Our previous dishwasher was around a 400 dishwasher this one was around 700. Was not worth the extra money. Supposed to dry better with a stainless steal basin but both times there is water running down the door. Put a plate just used at dinner with WET taco meat sauce on it and it came out dirty. My dishes were always dry and clean with the old one but only lasted two years. Very disappointed with whirlpool appliances and with this dishwasher in particular.

We did a lot of research and had decided on a Samsung, until we saw how many reviews of the Samsungs showed random failures while the Whirlpool average rating was about one full star higher. This unit has lots of features, including a very nice upper rack that is adjustable without having to pull the rack completely out. It is VERY quiet and looks fantastic. The only concern so far has been that some of the silverware still has some foor residue sometimes when the silverward basket is in the door but I've experimented and it seems to be a function of how I load the silverware so I don't think it's an inherent flaw but just part of the learning curve of new equipment. I would definitely recommend this dishwasher or a similar Whirlpool unit.

This dishwasher is wonderful. All the features are wonderful. Sears had a slightly shorter model that fit the space we needed. Our dishes are really, really clean!! Only problem is the handles of my silverware are too large for the silverware support (blue plastic form with slots) for silverware. I've worked around that.

Have only used it a couple of times. Love that I can move the top rack up and down. I have already used that option. Takes a long time but that's okay.

We are very pleased with the dishwasher. Front door is attractive, semi concealed controls along top edge of door give clean appearance. Silverware basket is versitle. Racks easy to load.Extremely quiet. Cleans well, very good choice .

This dishwasher has dirty dishes left after every cycle, whether it be silverware, bowls, or whatever. In the race to make these things use less water, they end up cleaning less so you end up using as much or more water to re-run the cycle or hand wash them. This occurs with light loads as well as heavy ones, so it's not an issue with loading it correctly. The Anywhere silverware caddy is a joke as well. If you hang it on the door half of the time something blocks the soap dispenser door and it won't open. The PowerScour is OK, but it doesn't go clear across the back of the tub so it really only cleans whats towards the center of the rack. Regardless of what the directions say, you DO have to clean the filter, and more often than it states. The only positive I can think of right now is I do like the controls, and the stainless steel liner is nice. I highly recommend steering clear of this product.

After only 4 months of use, my dishwasher is not working! Now I have to hand wash after spending hundreds of dollars. What a pile of junk!
