Simple dishwasher for a simple girl.
I got this about two months ago and it doesn't have all the crazy fancy stuff a lot of expensive washers do, but it works well. The only thing that I don't like so far is it has a seam from the mold all the way around the inside that at first looks like a big scratch....my husband thought I managed to somehow crack it...lol.

Doesn't WASH the dishes
On the advice of an independent dealer, I purchased this model about two months ago. It replaces a 12-year-old machine that I used to WASH dishes that had been scraped and waved under a faucet. The first time, I used the Whirlpool WDF310PAA the same way. After the one-hour cycle, the dishes smelled and had visible food particles. I hand-washed them. The second time, I used the two-hour "normal cycle." The "clean" dishes didn't smell but still had food particles. Since then, I have power sprayed the dishes clean before loading them using 140 degree water from the tap. The dishwasher, set on heated wash and loaded with detergent and rinse agent, sanitizes the load.
This model, updated from the one my dealer thought he was recommending, has only TWO sprayer arms, one under each rack and spraying UP only. The older model has an additional sprayer at the top spraying down. This model will SANITIZE your dishes, but it will not WASH them, and it will not save you water or energy.

I really like it!
So far so good! I have only had the diswasher a couple weeks but it does a great job! Some say there is water still on top of cups. But dont they all do that!!! It is quieter than my last diswasher. But I have never been around one that didnt make a little noise. The noise I hear is just water splashing! It cleans my dishes just fine. No complaints!
I would recommend this product to a friend.

I am very happy with this dishwasher. My old one had more options but the only one I ever used was to start the dishwasher at a later time. That option on this model is simple to chose. My dishes are clean and sparkling.! I also like the way it loads. I was not happy with the silverware rack, it was cheaply made and am using the one from my old dishwasher instead.

I chose this dishwasher for its simplicity, all I want is a dishwasher that cleans my eating utensils, I do not need all sorts of fancy settings. This model was what I thought would meet my needs. My husband installed it quickly without any problems and we used the hoses from the old dishwasher since this one doesn't come with new hoses. When we turned the dishwasher on for the 1st time, it was quieter than our old one, but, certainly not "quiet". Yet, the strange thing is that it seems to 'start' and 'stop' repeatedly. We aren't sure if this is due to its energy-saving feature or if something is wrong with it. This is why I came here looking to see if anyone else had noticed this same behavior. Insofar as how well it cleans, I haven't noticed any difference between the longer wash cycle and the 1-hour cycle... but, then again, our dogs lick our plates before I put them in the dishwasher, so, there aren't any food particles left on the plates anyway.

Quiet, good features, gets dishes clean
After not having a dishwasher for nine years, we finally broke down and purchased a dishwasher. Not having much money to spend, we wanted to make sure we bought a reputable brand that would clean well (we still have young adult males at home that don't always rinse well), run quietly, and last for many years. The Whirlpool delivers on the first two, and since it is a Whirlpool, we know it will last a long time.

I would recommend this dishwasher. It was purchased in October 2012. So far it has done an excellent job cleaning our dishes. It is very quiet while running. For the money it was an excellent value.
