Bosch  30'' 5-Burner Gas Cooktop

The front panel houses the knobs and painted on diagrams that tell you what know **** lights what burner and the intensity of flame. After less than a year the paint begins to wear off and your stove top is an embarrassment to have in a 2 yr. old kitchen. Bosch says it is my fault because I used warm soapy water on it. That I must have used a harsh product. I did not.This is a stove, not a fine piece of jewelry. It gets warm and I believe that is the problem. The Bold Bosch name is now also coming off. I guess Bosch is embarrassed too. They do not want folks to know it is their product. This can be a dangerous situation, because if someone uses the stove and does not know what burner **** to turn, turns one on and it does not light, gas can fill the room or worse cause a fire or an explosion.

Just had out new Bosch cooktop installed. It is wonderful! Sears was very helpful with the ordering and install. Great experience all around

I LOVE this cooktop! Best cooktop I've ever had. I was hesitant to buy a stainless steel cooktop as I have a 36" gas black porcelain enamel cooktop in another house and it's not easy to keep it looking nice. We did a remodel and installed a glass electric flattop. I hated cleaning it when something spilled over. I could only fit a 30" into my space so this was my next option after we ran gas. Well worth the effort. This cooktop not only works to perfection with heat adjustments, but it cleans up beautifully! If something spills over I have to wait for the grates to cool and the spills still wipe right up. I use a wet soapy cloth, rinse and dry with a clean towel. That's it! For a 30" there is more than enough room. Not at all crowded. I love the large center burner. Great product and highly recommend it.

I bought this cooktop to replace a GE Profile gas stove, because I was having my kitchen remodeled and the counter was being lowered to 34 inches. I did a lot of research before I bought this cooktop, and the reviews of it on this website were part of what influenced me to buy it. Now that I've been using it for several weeks, I'm delighted with it --- I like it much better than the gas stove it replaced. I'm amazed that Bosch was able to get 5 burners in a 30" cooktop and still have all of them be functional. The large center burner is quite powerful and heats water quickly, yet the low simmer on the two smallest burners allows me to make sauces without fear of burning them. The grates are substantial and yet light enough to clean easily. In general I'm finding that cleanup of the cooking surface is easier than it was with my GE stove. Best of all, the price was right. A friend paid twice as much for a Wolf cooktop, but I think this one is just as good.

Worth for the money.I got this cook top for my renovated kitchen.Its works as professional cook top.After this cook top came in my kitchen,i love to cook.My husband and kids are very happy that i cook very tasty and variety of meals.

I love the 5 burners cooktop, I can multi-task with main dish, size dishes, gravy all in one cooktop.  I also use the cooktop to cool down my baking dish when I used my double wall oven.  The heat are consistent, and it's really really great looking.  It makes my kitchen looks like a million dollar!!

We have a granite counter-top and wanted to replace our 30" gas cooktop.  The Bosch 30" 5-burner cooktop was our choice, and we're very pleased with it.

It fit in the standard 30" cutout.  The layout is very intelligent.  The stainless surface is easy to clean.

I especially like the safety features - indicator light and auto-ignition if a burner blows out.

Still very new in my kitchen, but am very pleased with the purchase.  was reviewed highly by ****************, which was the basis of my decision.  Lots of burners to work with a smaller space.  have not tried to load up each burner at the same time, but that isn't realistic cooking...at least for me.  Love the large middle burner, heats up my canner very quickly.  The smaller burners can adjust to the smallest of flames and thus just keeping things warm.  Very nice

I love that there is a large space in the middle for a large pot. My last range top cracked so it was great that there is no way this one could. It is not the most attractive but it works great.

I love my Bosch cooktop!  I purchased this in April 2011 to replace an old electric cooktop which came with my home, and it was very easy to install.  It gives me an additional burner, and the different size and strength burners are a real treat.  The simmer burners burn low enough to melt chocolate directly on the burner.  The center burner heats so well, a large pot of water boils in a fraction of the normal time.

I would recommend this cooktop to anyone who does a lot of cooking and needs additional burners in a small space.  It is wonderful to be cooking with gas again and to have the immediate temperature control.  The kitchen also stays cooler since there is no residual heat.  If I move in the near future, I'm taking my cooktop with me!
