Too hot to simmer
We had this cook top installed in our new house and loved the look of it. While its great for searing meat and for other dishes that don't require low heat, the burners are too hot to soups, stews and sauces. It is virtually impossible to safely leave a pot on simmer for more than a few minutes. Even 'low' on the smaller burner is too hot to simmer even large pots. Very frustrating for the price.
