Adequate single wall oven
I got this Whirlpool wall oven to be installed in our newly remodeled kitchen island. First, it was difficult to install in the oven cabinet due to the oven's size. It is big, but I guess they all are. Installing this oven lower, under the counter, makes it very difficult to read the display. You have to squat down to read it clearly. Also, this oven does not have a concealed bake element. You would lose even more space to have that, but it would have been nice not to have to work around that for spot cleanup. The tones, buttons, and display are not as pleasing as those on my KitchenAid range, but they'll do. So far everything I've had in the oven has come out just right so temperature seems to be consistent and even. It's not as fancy as some appliances, but it's a good solid oven.

Self-clean problems
This oven is very attractive and cooks things well. However, the first (and so far only) time I used the self-clean feature, the oven burnt a fuse. The repairman said that I did not need to clean it as long as I had. I had set the self-clean feature for about 30 min. LESS than the recommended time. I'm wondering if anyone else has encountered this problem. Also, even though the oven is brand new, it needs to be re-calibrated. According to my oven thermometer, and by the necessitated shortened baking times, it is heating just about 10 degrees hotter than the temperature gauge says it is.

I am happy with the performance, appearance and overall quality.
I replace my old unit with this stainless model and it bakes and broils nicely with even heating and excellent cooking results. I have not used the self cleaning feature yet but, I'm glad to have it. I think the stainless finish was worth a bit more as it matches my refrigerator. I removed the old unit and installed this one myself with no problem. The price was in line with other well known brands with similar features.

Fan runs continuously
This accubake oven has a feature that was never mentioned on the web page or in the manual. I had to call Whirlpool to find out if it was working properly. The fan runs CONTINUOUSLY when the oven is on to keep the control panel cool. This is very different from the oven I replaced so I was concerned that it was defective. The fan continues to run for some time even after the oven is off. This can be very annoying, to have the fan sound constantly. They should definitely mention this in the advertisement or at least the manual. Even the consultant wasn't aware of this feature.

I bake wedding cakes, and I have been completely satisfied with my Whirlpool oven. It bakes evenly and all the features are easy to use. It has a large interior for its dimensions; I am able to bake an 18" round cake layer in it.

This product has great even temperature zones
I have been really pleased with the even heating of this oven...No more hot spots as with our former oven. I do like hte ease of the the temperature and timer set. Only down side is the level of noise when the oven is on.

I really like my Whirlpool oven. It is easy to use and I like the de-sign of it. I suggest you read all the directions before you use it , I found myself going back to it, before I was really using it properly. I just love it! Sally

Clean, efficient, easy to use
I would eliminate the 350 degree DEFAULT setting of the bake temp. I use the 170 degree warm setting daily and I get tired of having to dial down to 170 EVERY day.
