Kenmore  24'' Manual Clean Wall Oven

Great engineering idea by putting gas connection on the bottom of the gas oven when you have install in a cut-out cabinet. There is a reason why it called ?Wall? Gas Oven. Pain to install.

Too bad it sat in my garage for over a month before it could be installed and during that time the price went down $300. Thought about taking it back but it was too late. Some problems with fitting for gas but otherwise it was easy to install, heats well. Smaller broiler than my old Caloric but ok.

Does not allow you to set a timer to turn on a later time. You cannot set to begin cooking an hour before you get out of Church and have dinner ready when yo get home.

BEAUTIFUL,almost too pretty to use,new ,out of the box...I love it.

I bought two of this oven to replace my old Caloric's. They fit perfectly into our existing wall cabinet. My son and I did the installation ourselves about a week ago. The hardest part is to disconnect the gas supply. We have done some basic baking. So far, I like it, When I touch the bake button and set the temperature, it lights up the fire very quickly and quietly. Since it is brand new and clean, it does not give off oily fume or smoke, a major improvement over my 30-year old Caloric self-clean ovens. As we use it more, we may have more to say about the oven's performance later. My criticisms are primarily about owner's manual. On page 6, the drawing shows the gas burner at the top of the oven cavity. I see the gas burner in the bottom drawer where the broiler is. On page 12, it says the oven light will automatically turn on. It does not, because there is no mechanism to turn on the light when the door is opened.

I love this oven it heats up quickly, & the racks have spots for your hands to pull the racks out. The only down fall I have is the bottom door for the broiler I would like to close tighter like the main door, does not have spring action open close. Also the timer for it just has one long beep to let you know it is done. One thing that I have noticed that I do not like about the new ovens not just this one is that the inside of the wall ovens have gotten smaller :( So don't think I am just saying that the inside of this one is smaller all of the ones I have seen have gotten smaller. It heats up quickly, handles on rack to pull out, nice design, easy to use.

Only had the oven for 3 weeks and would like to do another review after 1.5 years but all-in-all it is a good little oven. It heats up in less than 5 minutes and stays to temp. throughout the cooking process for cakes, pies and breads. It has nice even baking. I did my homework and knew the size of the oven and knew I had to buy smaller cookie sheets and such. My only complaint is the timer is only 1 short muted ding. I thought they would have fixed this by now. So.....I need to buy another timer just for the oven.

Was a pain to install. The gas supply to the oven is on the bottom of the oven. Old oven had the gas connector on the back.Oven is OK. Just an average low dollar no frills oven. Space is very limited in our kitchin, if I could I would install a double oven.

I've only had the oven for about a month,but so far it works fine.It's your basic oven not any bells and whistles but thats fine with me.It heats up fast and cooks evenly.
