My wife and I installed this oven about 2 years ago when we did a complete remodel to our kitchen. We have had no problems with this beauitful unit so far. The stainless steel is very high quality. Just the feel of it compares to any wolf or viking we looked at. I did get it from sears at their 50% off sale once a year for $1000. Same with the warming drawer great deal at 50% off and looks beautiful with the oven. Commercial look and feel solid features

We purchased this unit and after reading reviews (at that time most were strong) ran the clean cycle immediately because that was the one problem that seemed to be come up. The unit flashed an error message and would not function. Waited a week or so for service; unit was reset.
A few months later we ran the clean cycle again. Same problem. This time it was a 3 week wait for parts/service. They replaced the main panel and the computer system.
One month later we ran the clean cycle again. SAME PROBLEM! Now we are waiting again for service and have been told that they will not replace a unit unless 1) you purchased the master protection plan or 2) a technician says it is irreparable.
It doesn't matter to Sears if you have the same problem 3 times in 5 months and that there are MULTIPLE people on this review site with the same complaint. This unit is basically junk if you want to use the self clean function.

Hermiston OregonWe purchased the Kenmore Pro double ovens and warming drawer. They look wonderful!!! However, we installed them on Friday - used them for the first time on Saturday........had the repair man here on Wednesday! He tells me the motor needs replaced. When the oven is turned on to bake - the fan makes a terrible noise. I am just now reading all of the bad reviews on the ovens - I hope we didn't make a huge mistake. They only come to our area once per week so it will be two weeks before he is back to fix it.
I haven't tried the self clean feature - they haven't been used so are not dirty, but after reading the reviews, I think I will try it out in case there is a problem I want it fixed under warranty. I did not buy the extended warranty. Maybe I should have?
value consciousAfter much research, we purchased (2) of these units, 1 1/2 years ago. A few months later, we had problems with the broilers (in both), Sears repaired them. We haven't used the broiling much since then. Last week, we ran the self-clean on both ovens at the same time. The 1st oven stopped after 30 min. of the 2 1/2 hr. cycle with error codes and non-stop bepping. Sears tech service was of little help to troubleshoot & was able to schedule service one week later (thanks a lot for the time sensitive help). The only remedy for the beeping was to shut the circuit breaker down for that oven. Later the same day, the 2nd oven crashed. It completed the self-clean normally, but the heating element won't turn on now. Again, the best Sears could do was schedule us for service on the second unit a week later, but not the same day as the first unit that broke. Our ovens are 1 inch apart and Sears is coming on Tuesday and Wednesday to fix them. Lastly, as an intermediate cook, I find that the temperature does not hold true. It was been hard to negotiate the temperature for baking, roasting, convection and non-convection use. I would urge anyone reading this to not purchase Kenmore Pro ovens and to rethink Sears as their service is worse than bad, maybe insulting.

Had this unit for 2 years, Did the self cleaning 1st time and now it will not heat. I see other have had this problem, Sears need to recall this OVEN to fix this problem not tell people to pay for a service call on this problem. All I wanted was to talk with a service tech to see if they have a service note on this problem, but you can't even do that. Sears servive is the worse. Very Disappointed. I will tear this unit out of my house before I pay Sears to come out and look that this in Wall Oven
