Kenmore  27'' Electric Combination Wall Oven

Have already had one visit for repair because the broiler would not come on and now the oven door glass shattered at 410 degrees. The oven is only 6 months old. I would not recommend this to anyone.

Nice size oven and micro. Very little adjusting to fit in the space of the old 24 inch. Nice features. latches on the microwave seem a little flimsy

We bought this product in 2008 and after 4 years of moderate use and good care ( ie no suspect items ever placed in microwave) the microwave competely died on us. Couldn't even be repaired. Beware that this can happen with these combos. I wish I had bought the warranty but wish even more I didn't buy such a lousy product.

Shorter than old one

We went to buy another oven but this one was on sale. We should have read the reviews first. It is very noisy because the fan blows on and off about every 10 seconds for at least 30 min or longer. Our kitchen is near the dining area. If we have company I have to plan a dinner that doesn't require the oven, otherwise the noise of the fan interrupts the conversation. This oven takes much much longer to preheat than any other oven I have owned.

Other than the fan noise this unit is acceptable. We liked our GE one better but it didn't hold up. Hopefully Kenmore will be better. Installation crew was great!

Purchased this unit because I was replacing my old unit which was a 14 year old GE combination oven/microwave. Love the old GE but the microwave finally died. I failed to check the reviews on this unit and purchased it based solely on the price - half off. Good looking unit but the fan for the oven runs throughout the entire cooking process and continues to run at least 20 minutes after use. Because my family room is next to the kitchen you have to turn the volume way up to hear the TV over the fan. At first I thought the unit was malfunctioning because the fan immediately started running after it was fully heated. I had the warranty service technician out for another reason and he confirmed that the fan is loud and runs consistently throughout the cooking process and after you shut the oven off.

Microwave is great. The oven is loud. Its loud when baking and loud when cooling and is off. Its attractive and functional. The whole experience of getting it installed was a nightmare. I took two days off from work to get this unit installed and when the installer arrived it was 5 pm on a friday and he scratched and dented the hardwoods in the kitchen. He was alone handeling a 200 pound unit. Our claim still has not been resolved. Bottom line I would recommend the product but would find my own installers.

Brought this product about 2 years ago to replace our old. Selected this model due to its height and depth as we were limited on space from the old one. For the first year this product worked fine, then it started showing up error codes. Whenever we try and use the broiler the unit becomes too hot and trips the safety mechanism and shuts the entire unit off. This has happened over 4 times now so we just stopped using the broiling feature of the oven. Very disappointing that we cannot use a specific feature of this unit. Now the microwave unit just stopped working. It actually made a popping noise and the unit itself shut off completely. We tried resetting the circuit breaker thinking perhaps that might have been the problem, but it's completely dead. I am very disappointed with this Sears product and the customer service folks constantly send out one person when it always requires two to at least lift the unit out of the wall to work on it. Buyer beware!!

Nice looking and appears very functional. Easy to install.
