I love my new Kenmore Range Hood. The bisque color matches my range perfectly and I like the fact that the fan is very quiet.

Please read before buying...
I bought this item at sears.com. Came in quick from site to store free ship. Looks as described. After you take it out of the box the fun begins....Does not come with a cord plug in. You have to buy this seperate & wire it yourself. Seriously??! Last time I checked you have to plug this in to make it work! Also does not come with any light bulbs even though it takes two of them?! Also lacking a cover for the bulbs which my old range hood had. This is like buying a car without the tires. Rediculous. If my husband didn't have this already installd after me being gone for the day, I would have taken it back. The price is not great if you have to purchase more items just to make it work & your still left wthout a light bulb cover. BOOOO!

his would of got 5 stars but the filter does not filter very well and it will allow dirt and grease to get into the vent duck. I had to replace it with a better one. Other than that it works as advertised without any issues.

The Kenmore Convertible Range Hood 5215 serves its purpose
I am remodeling a small shotgun kitchen in a 30+ year old home. I could have bought a slightly less expensive range hood but the more angular shape of this was more appealing to me. Installation was not difficult. Additionally it has 2 light settings rather than one on the less expensive model.
I would recommend this product to a friend.

LOVE THE WAY THE HOOD TAKES THE STEAM AWAY ND THE 2 LIGHTS MAKE SEEING WHAT I COOK EASIER! FAN IS A LITTLE NOISER THAN I WANTED, BUT WHEN TURNED DOWN IT IS O.K. EASY TO INSTALL(HUSBAND DID IT) AND NOW MY KITCHEN IS ALMOSTCOMPLETE!

JUNK....this is the second one I bought..should know better. Not a year old (receipt missing) and squealing and rattling of the motor and fan. Very poor product. Strange that for a simple exhaust fan a person has to pay several hundred dollars to get reliability....which is what I have to do.

I feel bad for the other reviewers that had such bad luck with this product. I've had it now for well over a year and haven't had a single problem with mine. It works just fine, runs quiet, looks nice, was easy enough to install. I don't know what the odds are, but I've had a positive experience myself.

Don't Buy!
Unlike the other reviewer, my range hood didn't even work 2 days! My contractor installed it, turned it on, and the fan went thumpety-thumpety-thump. He turned it off, turned it back on, and a spark arched and the fan engine quit. Less than 12 seconds. Fan would not turn on after that. Fan/motor is arc-welded into place, so it couldn't be removed and a new fan/motor put into place. Taking it back and demanding my money back. Too bad, it looked good in place but who needs this hassle? Should have listened to the other reviewer. Good advice -- don't buy this model!!!
