I needed a ductless hood for my new stove but didn't want to spend a fortune. This hit the spot. Love that it takes up to a 75 watt light bulb. Really lights up the work area.

No ducting without tools
It is a great item - but you can't duct it without special tools to cut out an opening in the top! I returned it because I wanted to duct it to the outside. The box shows you can - but most hoodfans have an opening already to removed in case. This one doesn't.

The kenmore hood workrd perfict in our sitchuation do to haveing an older model mobile home and the 30" hood fit perfictly.

Love the product, BUT.....
The range hood is wonderful, sleek and functional. BUT...I wanted to buy an extra grease filter, and as of today, I spoke to 7 (that's right, seven) customer service reps who can't find this item by model number because Sears.com has different model numbers searspartsdirect.com...so good luck trying to get a replacement grease filter!

Old Kenmore range hood finally bit the dust. I looked for a comparable hood and was appalled by the high prices. Then I found this bargain. This hood seems sturdy, has a filter that you can clean, has a nice light and fan. I'm glad I bought this.

Kenmore 30" range hood was better than expected
My wife and I have remodled our kitchen and I wanted a range hood costing almost $300. She insisted on getting the cheapest white range hood at Sears, agreeing we could upgrade later. After getting it home and installed, I have to say it is quite nice looking with our cabinets. Plus the fan is fairly quiet. For the price, you can't beat it.
