    Excellent, sleek and highly functional microwave September 08, 2009

    I have been looking for stainless steel appliances for a while.  I am glad I waited because I saw this microwave on Housewives of New Jersey.  I was intrigued about how high end and high class it looked.  I finally took myself to appliancesmart. I bought all kitchen aid appliances. I got a great deal. I paid $549.00 for this microwave brand spanking new in the box.  The origianl price is $849.00.  I will say that it is all worth it.  I am so pleased with it that I do not have enough words.  It heats your food evenly.  It has so many features that you will probably need about 6 months or more before you can began to use them all.  I love this microwave.  The pizza pan is beyond me.  I was shocked to see it. It also comes with its own fork so that you don't get burn while getting it out of the microwave.  My friends say I always want different things.  That's true but I also like quality and kitchenAid appliances spells QUALITY. Buy it. You will not be disappointed.

    Unreliable. Complete failure twice. October 19, 2011

    I have had two of these microwaves, and both have broken on me.

    The first broke within 8 months of delivery and installation. Working with A&E and Sears, the repair and finally replacement took nealry 3 months.  After replacing all replacable parts, it still did not work, so thus new microwave

    The second, a year after the replacement, the replacement broke.  Had the A&E Factory Service representative come and found that the system has a severly bad design.  The "Wave Guide" was melted from the magnetron.  If I was not present when the microwave went bad, a fire could have occured and burned down my house...

    So that is two of the exact same microwave, both having to be replaced within a year of use.

    Luckily with the response from the A&E technician, I have Sears store credit, and will be buying a different model.
