Love this electric range so far,it looks beautiful & cooks great
This Kenmore electric range looks more expensive than it really was. The black range with the stainless steel door cover really is beautiful & it also cooks great! I like the coil burners too...not as fragile as the flat top non coil. Delivery was prompt with great follow up after delivery. Highly recommend this Range & Sears!

Poorly designed plastic parts
We've had it about two years and this week the center control panel went back into the cavity behind it when my wife pushed the timer button. I found that the entire control panel is held in place by four plastic ears. three of these ears were broken. It's not likely my 72 yr old 98 lb wife put too much pressure on it. I have always found Kenmore products easy to work on. That's a good thing because I have to work on them frequently.

Excellent Range, Canning Element Available
This range replaces my 30 year old GE. I was a bit concerned about these burners because they have fewer whorls than my old ones but I could not be more pleased with the performance - the slow simmer burner in particular. Most of my cookware is enameled cast iron. I also can fruits and vegetables and use pressure cookers and other large and heavy pots. This range is made by Frigidaire and I was pleased to find they make a canning element to replace the 8" element -priced at around $30 and available through Sears. It is the same element as the 8" element on the range only mounted on a reinforced, slightly elevated base designed to support heavy pots and provide better air flow under large pots. I am still experimenting with the convection feature but the oven and broiler are fantastic - esp 7 placement options for the rack and the large window. Only cons lightweight materials, slightly taller scale but all modern electric mid-tier ranges have those issues. This range is a great value.

Electric Range Simply Lovely
I am not going to be the one using this Electric Range. I actually purchased it for a rental property I have over in Tyler Texas. My renter Cramoeya said, she loved the electric range and it was simple to use. That is what I was looking for when I purchased this Range, something Cramoeya and future renters could use {Uncomplicated} .
