Our Kenmore Model 92903 performs very nicely and looks beutiful.
We are very happy with our new Kenmore free standing oven.We bake lots of large cakes and are impressed with its capacity and effieciency.It has turned out wonderful baked goods with precise temperature and even convection heat.We can fit 18" cake pans and bake off entire wedding cakes at the same time. The stove top is easy to navigate and you can easily simmer low and slow or boil quickly and with plenty of pans of varying sizes. Our model has a very large window and great lighting,looks like a Hi Def TV.Only drawback we find is the alarm tone is loud and not a pleasing sound to the ear.It would be nice to have a bell tone or something less piercing.

BEWARE! DEFECTIVE! Exploding glass door!
We've only owned this stove for about 6 months. Last night at about 1:00 in the morning, I heard a loud crash. It was loud enough to wake me from a deep sleep from across the house (I have a newborn too, so when I get to sleep, I'm a heavy sleeper). Scared the crap out of me. When I went to the kitchen I saw the glass from the front window had exploded and had little shards of glass everywhere in front of the stove. In the picture, I had swept the glass up into a pile, so I could walk in the kitchen. Over the last 6 hours what hadn't come out with the itinial explosion, and been falling out. When researching this issue on the internet, I found Kenmore (and GE) has had a huge problem with this in the past (primarily 2-3 years ago), but usually with stove people had own for at least a year. Never happened to anyone that had only own the stove for 6 months. Sears nor Kenmore, will do anything about this unless you bought the warranty. Common theme in my research showed that Sears act if this is a normal occurance! The product is defective! I certainly don't want this stove now! If the glass window is exploding after only 6 months, what else is going to happen. Even if I have no other option, other than getting it fix, is it going to keep doing this every 6 motnhs? There has to be a reason for the explosion, and eventually the warrant is going to run out. I don't have money to buy another stove (especially after just buying this one) Don't waste your money! We take very good care of our stove, we don't even allow our kids in the kitchen, so we are certain that nothing was wrong with the stove prior to the glass exploding! I am very thankful no one was hurt, especially since I had my face to the glass when I checked on dinner, the night before!

More than I expected!!
It is a very nice stove. You can cook up to 4 big pans at a time and you have space to cook without feeling crowded. The oven is huge. I have used the convection bake and the convention roast option and it cut the cooking time almost in half. The cooktop does not have the ridges as most cooktops do, so it is easy to clean. I really recommend it! It is worth the price.

outside of oven gets very HOT! Door, knobs, etc.
While this stove might be appealing to look at, have larger cooktop (5 burners) and oven size, plus convection and drawer warmer. I am extremely alarmed how HOT the entire OUTSIDE of this oven gets when cooking for awhile. That's right, I said OUTSIDE of oven (door, knobs, etc. I have complained to Sears and even had a technician come out and look at it. To only be told that this is how this oven is. That the stainless steel just gets hot due to how the oven is set up to release the heat via it's venting system. If you have young children....DO NOT BUY THIS RANGE......I don't let my teenager go near it, in fear that my child will get burned and I ALWAYS wear a mitt now when cooking. I have burnt myself enough already and only had this range 4 weeks. UGH!

Exploding Glass door!!!
I have an earlier model of this stove (2 years old) and it looks exactly the same and I had the oven door explode and shatter all over the kitchen! Thank God no one was near the oven! This has to be defective glass on these models! Of course out of warranty! I have to say that our local Sears manager was very kind and offered us a gift card, which sounds like alot more than others with this problem got from Sears! Be careful of Kenmore oven glass! Other than this "minor" LOL problem, the stove was great!

Purchase this after looking at reviews. Within 4 weeks, Turbo Burner not working and oven doesn't keep the correct temperature.Had a service rep come out to fix. He didn't have the parts. We liked the large oven size and the flat surface. This is going back and we're off to **********.

Should have bought one of these long ago. The convection feature makes cooking a breeze, and keeping food warm is an added perk that was sorely missed before. The wife just loves all the options that she and I now have in the preparation of various foods. Clean up is a breeze also. Wouldn't trade it for anything. Definitely would recommend it to anyone the ask me about a replacement range.
