Slow to Preheat,Front of cooktop gets hot with oven use,busy appearanceI was so excited to get this stove. I haven't owned a glass cooktop before and I was very pleased with its performance. I actually set a pot of water to boil and it boiled without any adjustment! I couldn't believe it. My problem was with the oven. It is sloooowww to preheat. My old, old stove of 18 years took 5 minutes. I feel like this one takes about 10 (maybe this is normal). When baking for the first time I burned myself as the vent on the front of the oven heated the front lip of the cooktop. The top 1/3 of the door was warm to hot at the top most area. I have a one year old and I am sending the stove back because I'm to worried about him burning himself on the oven door. Disappointed as I have loved my Kenmore Elite dishwasher so much I bought a new one when we moved to a new house.
