Beats Using a Top Load August 10, 2009
So easy to use and much quieter than my old top load washer. Using HE laundry detergent is great, the laundry gets clean and the spin cycle extracts the water out of the laundry really well so it dries much faster in the dryer. Sure, you can't change the time settings with the dryer, but you can pause it to check if the laundry is dry. With any washer and dryer, don't stuff it to the max and expect it to be efficient. The Sears Delivery guys were in and out within 25 minutes, now that's quick hull away and installation!

Frigidaire FL washer - 2 years and ruining clothes February 02, 2011
We have the LTF2940FS1 washer (not exactly the same but pretty close to this one) and are thoroughly disappointed. We have to run an extra empty cycle anytime we use bleach otherwise the load following is sure to have bleach spots. Even doing this we have thrown out a dozen tops and our towels are a disaster. Stains need to be pre-treated or soaked or they will not come out. Additionally, the smell!! Never, ever leave a load in overnight. It comes out smelling musty. No amount of fabric sheets covers it.

Bad Design - Belt comes off drum wheel (Frigidaire GLTF2940F) August 22, 2011

Non-Durable<p style="margin-bottom: 0in;">After 2 years, the belt came off the drum wheel. I'm not a mechanical person and since my one year warranty had expired, I called in an appliance repairman. He charged me 150 to replace the belt and tighten a pulley. Just today, almost a year after the first belt problem, I experienced the same problems I saw one year ago. My clothes were wet and the drum wouldn't spin. Before I called the repairman again, I took the back panel off and saw that the belt was indeed off. Now for the second time in my 3 1/2 year ownership, the belt has come off. That is obviously a very poor design. Trying to get the belt back on the wheel is impossible.

SmallI just bought this washer used off of craigslist for 225.00 and it seems to be working ok but it is smaller than my old top loader and i will use it for a while until i find a larger capacity one, i recommend this washer for a very small family, could not fit more than 5 pairs of jeans in it, overall i am satisfied and would recommend this small capacity washer, thanks, Reyes
