Refuses to Fold or Put Laundry AwayWell, the dryer is simply not as sexy as a washer, now is it? I mean, you put your cloths in, turn a knob or push a button......which is just a pretend setting lets be honest, then walk away. Yay.
That will all change with this dryer!! Oh wait, no it won't but this dryer looks alot better than your old dryer....so it's got that going for it.
OK, all kidding aside, this is an excellent dryer. The heat settings work very well and the moisture sensor has been spot-on! The lint guard is extremely effective. I'm catching all kinds of things in there that I never did with my poor old no frills basic 11 year old Kenmore.....which never needed a single repair, bless it's heart. In my new lint catcher, I catch hair and sequins, and glitter, and stray pieces of styrofoam (huh?) oh yeah, and lint. Lots of lint. So much lint you're obliged to clean it every usage regarless of the incessantly blinking red light imploring you to do the same.........and then not shutting off once you have.
Lets talk about the light inside the drum for a moment, shall we? First, it's bright. Really bright. So bright, that it may actually cause you to miss a stray item or two due to temporary blindness from the shiny stainless steel drum's reflections. The door has a window, so I know the light turns off when the door is closed.....phew. That saves me some time making sure of that! Also, the door opens up fully and easily clears all of our laundry carrying implements....without the repugnantly priced but oh so gorgeous pedestals.
This unit works quite well next to the other half of a washer/dryer combo.

Appearance,Capacity,Easy to Use,QuietWe've used Kenmore for 16 years and when our dryer motor broke, I bought another Kenmore dryer. I noticed when I used it there was lint all over my clothes. The lint catcher did not push all the way down. I also noticed when I took the clotes out of the dryer, the dryer door had unlatached but the dryer was still going. The size was a 6.7 which I thought would be big enough, NOT ... I decided to check out the LG dryer, found only good reviews on the particular dryer I wanted. Sears was great about the return/exchange. "I LOVE THIS DRYER ! ! ! ! ! I have the top control panel, instead of the front panel, is tall enough that I do not need the optional pedestal. Stainless steel drum and light inside make the inside so bright I can see if I left a sock or two. It is so quiet I forget I have clothes in there until I hear this cute little jingle it plays when clothes are dry, not just a "buzzer". I ordered the matching washing machine, will let you know how much I am going to love that as well.
