Kenmore  3.4 cu. ft. Top-Load Washing Machine - White

I bought this machine a month ago and it has flooded my floor THREE times with an inch+ of soapy water! Plastic drain hose is not flexible enough & diamiter of hose is too small to handle pressure to stay in wall-drain properly, worked it's way out of wall-drain from water pressure during wash/drain cycle...clearly an issue Kenmore/manufacture can fix with replacing the drain hose. Washer would not shut down, locking lid would not unlock; had to unplug it to stop the pump & running water. I do NOT like the "locking lid" feature, it does a satisfactory job with cleaning my laundry. FYI: We replaced the drain hose; from my old Kenmore (18 faithful yrs of use). Can't say much for my warped floor & tile...just thankful I was home during these disasters!

Why would you lock the lid. Detergent goes in first, then clothes, then the lid locks and finally water. Clothes are not clean and the washer is so slow. No fabric softener dispenser. The second time I used it had to call customer service. The machine would not start because lid lock error. Had to flip circuit breaker to reset machine.

i like this washer. it washes clothes really good. ive never had cleaner clothingt.

I purchased this item because in the past Kenmore items were great. I carried it from north Alabama to Gatlinburg, TN to put in a cabin. The hot water does not work. I can get hot water to the machine, but it will not fill up or run in a hot or even a warm cycle. I went back and spoke with a store rep. He said Sears does not have any service companies in the Gatlinburg area so I had to bring it back in. Now I find out that they do and he probably just did not want to handle the request. Bottom line is that we only wash cloths in cold water.

Washer is very quite but it is unbelieveably slow, 65 minutes to wash a load of t-shirts is not acceptable, its been an hour and a half on a load of towels and Im still waiting on this piece of **** to finish.

I ordered this product on-line and it was available for pick up as scheduled. It was pretty easy to transport and assemble on my own. My mom has found it easy to use since I purchased it for her.

This washer is a lot quieter than my old one, it just sounds different! Got our clothes very clean and was a great price! Only thing it is missing is the softener dispenser but I can live with that. Like the bleach dispenser. I gave it 4 stars because it doesn't have the softener dispenser. Nice machine.

you will not be happy with it, as we bought this washer last night and i hate it, we own all Kenmore applances in our home 5 of them, and have never owened anything but Kenmore products, this waher has a lid lock a push button start and you can not set it the way you want it to run, when you do stop to add softener and then try to start it back i drains the water and starts back to wash cycle, i don't know why they put the lid lock on this but it is a nightmare, and yes i know it was the cheapest but still Kenmore has always been a product we could trust, i don't think thats the case anymore, and yes i read all the booklets that came with it, still hate it, look at something without the lid lock for sure.....

the lid lock broke and now i have a hard time with the whole thing

1. Can't run water with lid open as I fill the machine while sorting. 2. If you forget something, take a loooong time to open lip to add more. 3. Each cycle, NO MATTER which one, takes 1 HOUR! It takes me literally ALL day to do 8 loads. ALL DAY!
