i have this product and its working fine

I spent days and days reading reviews before we bought this washer. I was hesitant to buy an eco friendly washer; my mother had a front loader that she detested. I came into this purchase very skeptically. After using for a couple of months I can honestly say that I am in love with this washing machine. It can do anything! If you just need a normal wash, it can do that (practically noiselessly) in about 18-30 minutes. I am expecting my second baby next week, so I've been pulling baby items out of the basement. I was worried I wouldn't be able to use them due to mold. I did a sanitize cycle with a borax prewash and they came out looking brand new! Grant it a sanitize with a prewash cycle may take an hour and half, but you will be amazed at the results! Some complained about the noise during the spin cycle. We have a 90 yr old house with wooden floors. There are times when you can feel the floor vibrating, but not often. And not any worse than the our old top loader could be. I LOVE IT!

I bought lhis washer, matching dryer (81472) and pedestals. I assembled and installed these products myself and was extremely pleased with the way the products were packaged for shipment. The machines were very easy to unbox. The washing machine had integral recessed handles build in the sides for easy handling. The machines attach securely to the matching pedestals easily. The water connection inlets are well placed and have good spacing for your hands to tighten the hoses. The washing machine ran very quietly and efficiently. The laminated quick instruction guide, along with the suction cup attachment, is a great, useful idea. I printed off a copy of the online user manual and read it before making this purchase so that I was familiar with the machine before making the purchase. One thing that I learned was that front-loading washers should use the High Efficient detergent rather than the standard because it is lower sudsing. We have had a top loader forever and did not know this.

This LG made Kenmore has been a nightmare since it arrived in July '12. The laundry began to stink at times. We cleaned and maintenanced as directed. Still smelly clothes. We did it MORE often than required. Still smelly clothes. We threw AWAY clothes and towels. Sears was called during the process. Finally, we (with technician) determined it is just a bad design and when using steam or sanitize, the washer would leave the smell. Sears is taking care of us and the replacement is on the way. After 17 years of owning front loaders from Sears, NO MORE! A top load efficiency is on the way.

I tried two machines before exchanging it for a Maytag. It has three main problems: 1) It takes a long time to balance the load before going into a faster spin. I'm talking 10 minutes of slow back and forth spins. Once, after ten minutes of trying, it gave and unbalanced sign and quit working, something my HE3 (Kenmore) never did. 2) It shakes, rattles and rolls. I'm talking much louder, more vibration, and it sometimes moves. Both the machine and pedestal are lighter and it shows. Had techs come out to see if balancing was a problem to no avail. 3) The water hose and plug thing don't make much sense. After three washes I checked on both machines and over a liter of water came out, and it doesn't all go in your pan. Because there isn't good drainage from the plug it goes all over and under the machine, and woe to the soul who doesn't have the machine on a pedestal. I don't know how they are expected to drain the water.

I usually don't write reviews but this is an exception. We purchased this washer with the matching dryer for our new house over a year ago in October 2011. I am so happy with this machine. I have three kids. This washer gets all the clothes super clean. It can clean a king size comforter. It spins so well it is amazing. It cuts drying time drastically. Some people complain of the long cycle times, which is true, but it cleans clothes so well I don't care.

Electric Steam gives sanitation cycle, great for bedding and it has so many others you can't lose. It makes the clothes softer and they feel great coming out of the machine. Great capacity. They look so good in my remodeled laundry room! They are a bit wider front to back so am having them stacked Mind what the store tells you and get it in writing to be sure they honor it. ~~~and don't use Sears.com unless you use it online. The phone number held up over 3k and still has some of it after they lied about product and said they didn't charge it to my credit card..Yeah they did.

We just had it delivered yesterday and I already love it!! I can't say the same for sears delivery as they were over 2 hrs late and forgot to turn the gas on for the dryer. But the washer and dryer are amazing. I replaced a 9.5 yr old HE3 set which I never had any problems with so i was a bit hesitant to replace. This new washer washes in half the time. there is an express wash that cleans a load of towels in half an hr. The steam wash I wasnt that impressed with. It takes about 2 hrs and I honestly couldn't tell the difference if my clothes were cleaner or not. The washer is so silent and the quality of it seems so solid, not cheap at all. It looks so sleek and modern! I love this washer! The true test will be in a couple weeks as I think I do more laundry than most people. A typical week for me is at least 10 loads. I'll update my review if it changes. The dryer is pretty awesome too. Drys a load of heavy towels in 40 mins. Nice ambient lighting inside the dryer door too.

Really like this washer! Much quieter than my old one, and has many nice features. Even tells you how much detergent you need! Only drawback is the wash times are quite long - over an hour. But the clothes come out incredibly dry and drying time is greatly reduced. This washer holds a large camping sleeping bag with no trouble and actually holds more than my dryer does!

After two months of washes, my clothes started to look beat up. It had those tiny little balls called "piling" on my t-shirts and my wife's cotton tops. It was suggested that it may be due to the higher rpm of the wash cycle (to save you time doing your laundry). We don't use the dryer for these clothing items. I'm going to return this and exchange it for something less "high tech" Beware that you have 90 days from the date of purchase for returns, and not from the date of delivery.
