Fast Gentle and Quiet!! March 13, 2010
This dryer dries clothes rediculously fast and quietly. The sensor dry works amazingly well! It dried my full size down comforter in 20 minutes!!! It is very gentle and I have even thrown items I would generally air dry to test it out...very very gentle! Highly recommend this with the matching washer..MAKE SURE TO READ THE BROCHURES..15 minutes well spent!

15 Months - Motor Burned Out - Don't Buy - Junk! December 08, 2010
This is the WORST washing machine I have ever purchased. It is a complete piece of junk. I have had this machine a grand total of 15 months and the motor is burned out. When the machine DID WORK it sounded like a airplane flying over the house. It is EXTREMELY loud when it spins. The hydrowave technology is a joke. Don't buy this piece of *********
Also bought a GE gas dryer also and the heating element needed to be replaced within 6 months.
Come on GE --- do us all a favor and recall this product. I will NEVER buy another GE appliance again.

Lint Capturing could be betterI purchased this as a set with the matching washer on a super sale last week and so far I am extremely pleased with the value and quality of the dryer. It seems to dry my clothes quickly and I love the 3 tone warning...I'm almost done...I'm really almost done...I'm done!! I only have 1 strange complaint about this dryer, we are infamous for leaving tissues in our pockets, and this dryer isn't as good as my old one with capturing these in the lint filter...certainly not a huge problem, but my old dryer just seemed to be able to collect all of this in the lint filter and there wasn't any on the clothes...There were still some pieces on our clothes with this dryer. Overall I am very satisfied with the value you get for your money on this dryer. We could have easily dropped 2k on one of those really slick front load sets, but we have better things to spend our money on - like vacation :-) A side note, we ordered this sight unseen online (Hate being stalked in stores) and had this shipped to the store with the washer (no delivery fee). Sears had it in store on the day promised, called me, emailed me and we were in and out of the store within 10 minutes. Sears online is very easy to use and Sears Pickup is the best! We were extremely pleased!

This dryer is quiet and dries quickly. I love the three options for the buzzer. My dryer is in the basement and when I select the "medium" buzzer sound I can hear it on the second floor.
