After reading the reviews for this washer.......I wish I would have read them BEFORE I purchased it! Oh well. At least I got a very good price of $296 after all the rebates and incentives given by Kmart, PG&E and the Federal Government "Cluncker Appliance Rebate Program"! So hopefully I made the right choice.......Maybe my machine will be OK........I'm hoping so, this is my first front-loader. Only time will tell.......but at least I did not spent $700 or $800 on the machine like some of you did!

Tired of cleaning up water! May 03, 2010
I've had this washer for just over a year now. I go to add a load of clothes and water spills out after I open the door. This happens at least once a month. I thought that the problem was a result of me using my delayed wash. After I stop using this feature, the problem continues. I would not recommend this product to anyone. I am tired of cleaning up water!

Maintenance,Non-Durable,Inability to drainBarely two years in, this washer has already needed a new drain pump and spin motor. When operating normally, it traps lots of moisture around the front door and in the soap dispenser, leading to mildew and foul smells, especially of the door is closed after a cycle, that spread to clothes. Controls and cycle options are not intuitive or well-labeled.

The water collects in the rubber seal around the door. If you do not clean this on a regular basis it starts to smell. It is not easy to keep it clean !!
When I open up the part where you fill in the laundry detergent it always leeks water on the floor, good that I have tile floor because any other floor would have water damage by now.
Very disappointed in this product which I paid hard earned money for...:-((

Time Savings,Easy to Use,Efficient,Appearance,QuietI have been married 23 years. In that time I have owned only two washers. Both are Kenmore. I only purchased the second one because I wanted newer models. The first washer was still in good working condition. I gave that set to a family member.
My second washer is the frontload Washer. What a wonderful product. I have owned the set about 2 years now and it has been very reliable. No leaks, no odors, no problems.
