I absolutely LOVE my washing machine!!! September 30, 2009
I have worked at a Sears Hometown Store for a year. I knew I needed a new washer & dryer, so I asked my customers lots of questions about their appliances. After about 8 months, I narrowed it down to three brands, and then ultimately chose the Kenmore HE3t. I'm so very happy with my choice. It is extremely quiet, and my clothes have never looked so good. It holds nearly two times what my large capacity top loader held, and my utility bill is about $50 - $75 less than it was before. I have used it for nearly two months, and wouldn't trade it for a more expensive brand. If you follow the directions for loading it, the clothes do not tangle up. I have recommended it to many of my customers, who purchased it, and are very happy with it as well.

Kenmore Elite Top Load Washer December 28, 2010
I highly recommend finding a different brand of washer. We spent a lot of money on new washer and dryer, we were so excited, to be so disappointed. Wish I could have made them take it back, Sears wouldn't even consider a trade for a different machine.
Please don't buy it unless you enjoy blowing money on junk.

Read your manual all the way through!We have owned this washer for 3 years, and have had no problems.
We are careful to use it correctly, and keep the door open to prevent moisture build up.
We also run the clean cycle about every three months and that seems to keep it fresh and clean.
We are VERY happy with the investment we made in this washer. THe extra large capactiy helps with the energy efficient operation of the product.

Non-Durable,Maintenance,does not hold upworked ok for a couple years, then stopped working with f70 error. repair man says it needs more than $700 in parts to replace computer units and perhaps more to replace front panel. makes more sense to buy a new machine. this explains why sears extended warantees are a must. you can count on the appliance breaking and costing a fortune to fix. i think this is their business model.

F70 error, shreds clothes, leaks, broken gasket June 10, 2011

Cons:
Non-Durable,Maintenance,DOES NOT GET CLOTHING CLEAN,does not hold up,LeaksWe bought this machine three years ago after our washer of only 7 years failed. We bought the extended service agreement, which has saved us thousands of dollars in repairs. We've lost hundreds of dollars in clothes to this machine, It shreds and even burns clothes. We can no longer run a hot cycle or a high spin cycle because it will throw an F70 fault. I got a repairman out, who could see the F70 code on the machine, but wouldn't repair it because it wouldn't repeat it when he ran the machine.
Then the Gasket started shredding and showing up in the loads. I don't know how or why, but I've saved all the pieces. Then this evening we tried to run a clean cycle on the machine and it's leaking everywhere from underneath. I'm done with this machine! I will not buy another Kenmore or Whirlpool product. I've had the same luck with my range, refrigerator and dish washer.

Open front. Drain plugged with two socks. Fixed Super Quick. Back in Business.
Love it,. Senses load size and adjust water. Highly Recommended!!!
