I've always owed a Kenmore washer & dryer. We just recently purchased a new dryer and I love this one. It has a light inside which is nice to be able to see if I've gotten everything out. It dryes my clothes really well too. This model also has a buzzer on it where as my old one didn't and that's a nice option.

This Dryer Is LOUD May 25, 2009
This dryer was delivered April 17, and required a call to Sears that evening due to loud high pitched noise from the dryer that could be heard through-out the house. After taking two days off work to let technicians in to work on it and having every moving part replaced, Sears gave up on trying to fix it. Even the technicians said they had never heard a dryer so loud. I exchanged it for a GE dryer, #DWSR483EGWW. The new dryer is so quiet, you can hardly hear it. I would recommend anyone buying a new dryer to stay away from the Kenmore.

This dryer has all the features that I did not have in my old dryer. This model featured a door that swung to the side rather than a pull-down door which I greatly appreciate (makes it easier to remove the clothes). The ability to turn off the signal was a must. The light in the drum is a pleasant must,

Pros:
Space efficient,dries clothes quicklyHave done 3 loads of laundry so far today after just getting the dryer yesterday. I love it! It works so much better and dries clothes faster than our old one that died (only 4 years old). It is quiet and gets a regular load of clothes dry in less than an hour. The auto moisture sensor works great too, I did have one pair of jeans that came out still wet in places, but all the other clothes were dry. I love that it has a light inside and a buzzer on so I can hear when the dryer stops as it is in our basement. I also like how the clothes come out cooled off instead of so hot they are hard to touch. I would definitely recommend this dryer!

Kenmore 600 dryer has just enough extras for my needs. I like the moisture-sensitive cycle that doesn't let the clothes get too hot. It dries the permanent press quickly and efficiently - much quicker than my other dryer. I'm very pleased!
