I love the large dryer capacity, it's the first time I've been able to dry my king size comforter with room to spare. This dryer was especially helpful this Christmas season when I unpacked all my good table linens and never had to spend time ironing any of them. All i had to do was put them in the dryer, set it on the SteamCare Touchup and Refresh cycle for just a few minutes and the creases from being packed away for a whole year disappeared. It was awesome.

Purchased in Dec. 2009, excellent experience in store with sales and delivery, then disappointment with drying times. Also, makes intermittent excess noise. We are older couple so don't have large loads generally, but even wash and wear clothes can take 80 min or more to dry. The sensor feature seems worthless. We now dry only using maximum time, then often have to add more time. Have checked exhaust for clearance and always clean the filter. Very disappointing given our other experiences with Kenmore and Sears.

Pros:
AppearanceI bought the oasis washer and dryer together. The washer we have had no problems with, however, the dry has some electrical problems. It randomly beeps when not in use. the time display changes from 1 2 and 3 with every beep. It takes forever to dry a larger load. the count down hangs on at about 8 ot 9 minutes for up to an hour. It takes roughly 90 plus minutes to dry a decent size load. With the timer hanging out at 9 minutes the dryer sometimes doesnt indicate when the cloths are clean. After researching this, it seems to be a common problem with this line.

Easy to use, energy efficient, lots of options, and clothes get dry in one cycle. We bought this to go with the Kenmore Elite Oasis washer we bought last year - both work great! Super capacity is great for big families - dries one whole set of twin bedding at once. I like that the door opens to the side - kids can help and I don't have to worry that they are going to break the door by leaning on it. I also like the lint trap down in the front - easy to clean and doesn't make a mess on the top of the dryer. All in all, this dryer is simple and easy to use.
