I bought the battery for store pickup - never had a easier transaction before. The battery was ready for pickup when I got to the store; the store associated switched out the old battery for the new one; I was done in less than 5 min. Awesome experience.

These are the best batteries you can get, they last longer than most standard batteries.

Don't buy this piece of junk after you read my testimony. Bought this Diehard 8 years ago and during the second summer in August, it died. Went to Sears to replace it and was charged almost $65 for installation and proration. Two years later it died again in August and had to repeat the same process for $70. Two years later in August the same problem, but I made the point to test the battery there and if it was bad, I was going else where for a different battery. Beware! Sears will do a full load test which drains the battery so you can't drive away. You'll have to wait at least two hours for them to charge your battery up, but who wants to wait that long? Sears got me again! I said, just put in another battery so I can leave. Another $75 and now two years later, I got a dead battery in August again. Not this time Sears. I'm going to ****** to buy an Interstate battery which I owned once that lasted me seven years. FYI  The same company that makes the Diehard also makes Duralast that also lasts for two years. Don't waste your time with a Diehard! 

Needed a new battery and headed to Sears. Great battery and the service to get it installed was exceptional.

a while ago i bought a ******* car battery, installed it and it started the car but the starter did not seem to turn as fast,2 years later the battery dies. Now I bought a die hard battery, car starts real snappy the way i remember it, the battery itself costed $15.00 more than the ******* but if it lasts more than 2 years and Im sure it will because die hard is such a good name for batteries, it was well worth it.

I purchased a new Die Hard Gold Group 35 battery and it was dead 2 days later. I checked the specific gravity (after a full charge) and all cells indicated low in the fair range or bad. Additionally if you remove the caps it voids the warranty so you cannot maintain the battery. I am going to return the battery and purchase a battery I can maintain.

I just replaced my DieHard Gold and was surprised I bought it in 2002. Needless to say I got another one just like it. The only downside is that unlike some old batteries with peephole windows where you can see the fluid change color you can't tell if the battery is have difficulty reaching full charge.

I bought a used 1993 camry from a dealer back in 2003. It is now mid of 2010. I never had to do any maintenance on this DieHard (Gold) battery. It still runs fine. I never had problems with cranking or low battery. Not sure if this is kuddos to the quality of camry or this battery. Recently, I took my car to ******* for an oil change and they did their usual check on the battery and suggested to get it replaced as it was not producing enough voltage. Even though, I am not having any problems at all with the battery, I don't want to risk anything and hence I will replace it to be prepared for the winter. I am sure I will buy this battery again. I wish it was a bit cheaper though. 

On a side note:- I agree with the salesman's suggestion (in a previous review) that you should not touch the connection points on the battery. Don't try to clean it or take the rust out. Just leave it alone. These batteries are maintenance free... Gone are the old days where you had to carry distilled water with you to recharge the batteries.
