    Best Purifier for the money!! April 02, 2011

    I have owned this unit for 15 months. I have two large dogs, but you would never know it from the odors this machines cleans up. I keep it on automatic and never have to worry about readjusting the setting, and super quiet too. I replaced the filter at a year as recommended and it works as good today as the day I bought it. I would love to get another one for my lower level. I highly recommend this unit, great buy for the money.

    Worst air cleaner I have ever purchased April 12, 2010

    This is the only time I have ever returned an item one day after I purchased it!

    First off the filters are so flimsy and poorly built I had to check twice. The HEPA Filter is thin and flimsy with absolutely no border protection and I had to place the flimsy charcoal filter on this board, which 'held' it in place with only 2 pieces of velcro on the sides, none on top or bottom. There must be so much air bleed from this poor filter quality that this machine will basically be blowing out air without ever going through the filters.

    Next problem-the fan blows in and out and makes an annoying sound. What's worse is that the machine actually wobbles, even on the lowest setting. Didn't the manufacturer bother to test this thing first?

    Absolute garbage. Sears should be ashamed of themselves for putting the Kenmore name on this atrocity.

    I just bought this product 3 hours ago and already I feel a difference. So far no stuffy nose. I have a constant stuffy nose. This is so quite also. This is my first air purifier also. The price was well worth it. I am getting a smaller one for my bedroom. This one will stay in the living room. I deffinatly will recomend this to others.

    love love love. very quiet. and cleans/refreshes a fairly large room. even with 4 dogs, cleans and refreshes the whole room.

    Absolutely love this air cleaner. Totally works!!! Only confusion is the air quality lights. Are more lights better or worse air? There are 4 that start with 1 blue then go up to 4 which I haven't seen yet and no where in the manual does it explain.

    My father and I bought this air cleaner: one for me and two for him... Neither of us have had problems with it. It is pretty silent... What I like is that it looks like it's working, doesn't spit out too much air, and actually seems to clean the air well... The filters are easy to replace and afford... You just snap off the front cover and replace them! Pretty simple, I say... (the filters have also far outlasted the other air filter that I bought) :) Also, Kenmore is a Sears' brand and Sears is a trustworthy company to go through if repairs are needed or there are problems with the air cleaner.
