I wish there was an on/off switch to save battery life, although I have had mine for a couple months and the battery still is good. This could save your life during remodeling projects to help determine if the lines are hot or not as you never know how a house has been wired prior to your arrival.

decent price, its always on and does not break as easy as other brands. had it for months now and has not broke. other brands broke like the first week of use. will recommend this product to electricians.

This is a great hot stick. I've seen a few sticks that can be turned on and off. When they are turned on they have a green light for dead wire and flash red for hot wire. This only flashes red when induced by the hot wire. I would like to know that the stick is on and showing dead wire rather than looking the same both off and showing dead wire. Other than that, I love this product, very light. I've never had a problem with it. Amazing considering it is so cheap.
