    Great product........ November 28, 2008

    I bought this Infrared Thermometer and I was really surprised how easy to operate and how accurate it was. I really did not need the higher temperature models. Nice little item for the toolbox. Great gift item for the gadget person who has everything.

    Will not measure fire/burning item December 01, 2008

    Anybody know what OL means on this digital readout? Neither do I since it isn't mentioned in the owners manual. I'm guessing it means over limit - so no readout. Bought this to read burning wood for a science experiment. Sorry Charlie! It don't work.

    I bought this for my trailer tires to check and make sure they did not overheat I have used it to check engine gas temps and brake temps as well good tool 2 years old and no problems.

    I had this on our boat to check the engine temperatures and it worked great for about 3 weeks. I kept it in a waterproof bag and it never got wet or even exposed to the weather since access to the engine was inside. It simply stopped working. New batteries didn't help. I think I'll buy one more and see if it works since I really liked the small size. If the next one only lasts a few weeks I'll write another review.
