Worth the sale price. June 10, 2007
I purchased 100 of these flashlights to use in doing WCM in our plant. They work very well for seeing under and inside of machines where there is no light. The size is perfect to clip on your beltloops. The only thing I would improve about this flashlight is the strap plastic holder. We have had numerous ones that have cracked and broke. We replaced it with an eye hook screwed into the end. When they go on sale, I'll be purchaseing these to stock for our inventory and to hand out to future employees.

Craftsman led tool light does not last November 30, 2010
I purchased two of these lights at a very good price. I was slightly concerned with battery life since I'm used to D cells in my Craftsman lights. Within the first two weeks the first light led broke at the solder point and was visibly hanging. The other light didn't make it to two months. I never made it through the first set of batteries on either light. This is a great contrast to the incandescent Craftsman lights that have the led power indicators on them. Those lights are workhorses. Unfortunately, Raovac makes a better, cheaper led light that even comes with a set of standard (non-alkali) batteries. I don't usually write bad reviews, but even a negative review can be helpful when you want to make an informed purchase.

durableI recently purchased a Craftsman Led flashlight from my local Sears store. The flashlight is probably the best one I ever purchased. The only down fall with the flashlight is this is my 2nd one. I had to purchase the additional light because Sears does not sell the replacement bulbs for the light. Other than that I highly recomend the flashlight.

it's bright, some are brighterOne of the Sears serviceman that came out to fix my snowblower had one. He was very impressed with how durable it is and recommeded it.
I have seen others and their battery holder can break from being dropped.
This has a better holder and it the length of time on the batteries is great.

Bright Luxeon 1 watt LED and durable May 04, 2009

I picked up the 3 AAA version about two years ago. Still works fine. No issues. I have droped it on concrete on numerous occasions. Nice powerful beam too. Fits in the car glove box. Would definetly buy one again. Sears dosen't give the Kelvin rating but it's very white in color probably in the 4500K range.
