501 jeans
My husband loves the 501 jeans. You reallycan not find them at most places, but Sears I found them. He also wears a 355 in waist, and they are hard to find. I bought them in 4 different colors and he could not have been happier.
His birthday is coming up in feb, and he will be gettting more of them.
He loves them, and looks so good to watch him wear them with a big smile!!!!!!!!!!!!

Love them, but construction terrible
I love 501 jeans and will always wear them, but the last two pair I bought had problems with the belt loops pulling out after one washing! One of the button holes ripped out from one pair also, which I have never had happen to me.
Levis, please make the jeans better. I love them but am tired of them falling apart on me right away.

Still the Best Jeans for Men - Classic Style
A guy can't go wrong by having several pairs of 501 Levi's. Every other type/style of jean comes & goes, but these are always cool to wear. Dark Blue & Black are my favorites. Wear them anywhere, do whatever. I would have given 5 stars instead of 4, but since every pair I get is from a different country, the quality has fallen off just a bit. Wish they were still made in Calif like they used to be. They need to improve/beef-up the stitching around all the button-holes, (not just the top one, which is usually fine). I have always liked the fit, and the more worn they get, the better they feel. Don't dry them on high temp, though. Being 100% cotton, they still tend to shrink just a bit in length if you over-dry them.

Just the best
I have always liked Levis 501s. Have had zippers fail in the past but not much can go wrong with the button fly. Comfy and durable (although they do seem a bit overpriced--but you get what you pay for, right?) I like the stonewashed color as well.

What a shrinkage!
In the first wash it shrank from a 34 to a 32. Luckily I had bought one size larger in length but the waste is awfully tight. Generally fits nice and snug but careful in ordering sizes. I'm a bit perplexed now!
