This refrigerator is great! We bought it a couple months ago for the family and have had no problems.

Would be perfect if it were quiet
<span>We bought this fridge before reading the reviews online. Looked fabulous in the store and unfortunately that won us over not knowing anything about Samsung refrigerators. When we got it home and had it installed, it made the most annoying LOUD high pitched humming noise that could even be heard upstairs. We placed a service call and the repair guy said that all Samsungs will make this noise due to the dual cooling system. Needless to say, we had to take it back. Sears was great with allowing us to exchange it (we got a Kenmore which is much quieter). Definitely will shop with Sears again, but will NOT buy another Samsung appliance. Read the reviews on other sites before buying this product.</span>

Got Noise?
This refrigerator is the loudest refrigerator ever made in the history of the world! It makes a high pitch noise when beginning it's cycles and a "death rattle" which sounds like a bunch of gears clanging together, when it ends cycles. These noises occur several times throughout the day and evening. In addition, one can hear the gas moving through the lines most of the day and evening. It's just unbelievable and unbearable. So if you have a peaceful and serene kitchen and you want noise... get this refrigerator.
