I have had my Kitchen aid french door refrigerator for 18 months and I am totally happy with it. It keeps my frozen foods frozen and my refrigerated items cold. The various drawers in both the refrigerator and the freezer allow for easy storage and retrival of food items.

I am on my third new kitchenaid so far. All of the doors are coming in with a slight wave in the stainless steel surface at the top of the doors. As I told my salesperson, I did not buy scratch and dent. The light shining on the uneven ss surface makes me crazy. We are in the home remodel business and have purchased and installed many ss appliances. This is the worst finish I have ever come across. I can not say how it works because I am trying to keep them in new condition to exchange. I was told that the manufacturer is now aware of this manu. defect. Frustrating. I suspect that maybe the bulder is using a thinner guage of Stainless resulting in this poor door wrap.
