Kenmore chest freezer is great April 12, 2011
This is a great freezer. It's quiet, roomy, the spacers are great, and of course it keeps stuff frozen. It costs next to nothing power-wise, and the baskets are spacious and convenient. We're growing our own organic veggies this summer so I'll have a lot of stuff to freeze, and I know this freezer will have the room for it. I wish we'd gotten the model with the temperature readout (we didn't know there was one until we were reading the manual that came with this one), but that's not a drawback on this freezer. It works just fine - in fact, I can't think of a con so I'm giving it 5 stars.

Kenmore Chest Freezer one the most top highest name brand chest freezers to buy with top quality set in stone. Kenmore freezer is one the largest chest freezer that our family was looking for to store foods and freeze our foods as well. Kenmore freeze chest has large removeable baskets, offers variety removeable spacers, Kenmore Chest freezer offers lid light, the freezer working in good condition at all times without making any bad sounds.

None so farThis has been a wonderful investment. Freezer is the perfect size for my family's needs and fits all of the meat from an entire cow. The dividers have been especially useful for dividing hamburgers, steaks, roasts, etc. We have not had any issues with the lid. The price was the best value available for this size freezer. We are very happy with our purchase.

I can only remember having to contact the warranty department and it was for something minor with my Kenmore refrigerator. What wonderful gifts to me in the long run. NO wear and tear!

not frost free,Lid light weight, not always sealingWe bought this freezer in March, 2010 and have generally been pleased with it. It freezes food like it should and is quiet. It's in the garage so we wouldn't notice noise much anyway. Our old Sears freezer was still working after 25+ years but we figured it was time to replace. I preferred the wire baskets of the old model to the plastic of the new, plus the old model had 3 baskets instead of 2. The dividers are a nice touch but I would prefer wire as they take up less space. I'm afraid the plastic baskets and dividers will break easily, although they haven't yet. Biggest complaint is this freezer really ices up which makes it a bit difficult to get the baskets out. Plus if there's anything setting high in the freezer the lid won't close tight so you have to watch that closely.
