Great Fridge July 16, 2009
I read some of the negative reviews online about this fridge but decided to give it a try. It has been a great product so far and we have had no problems with it. I agree there are some noises that come from the fridge but they are not overwhelming or distracting. There is ample space, especially in the doors. It's great to fit a gallon of milk in the door! All in all, a great product for the price. Delivers the grand stainless steel look without costing over $2k.

We bought all Frigidaire products because we didn't have much money when we moved to our new house. Never mind other Frigidaire terrible products because this is about the frig. Just like G.M., they had a great sale with all the bells and whistles. Within 3 years of owning this frigerator, the repairman knows my voice on the phone. It's loud. The dash board to control temperature breaks down. I don't know how - but the ice maker goes whacky and shuts down the whole frig. Do I need to say more? For that amount of money, I expected at least 5 years of reliability. But instead, I got 3 years of headaches.

We've had our fridge for 5 years since we moved into our home. I read these reviews and felt I should share that we've been very pleased. Yes you can hear the ice maker at times, but it's brief and not a disturbance. It has wonderful capacity. The freezer quickly fills up, but that's probably more about my trips to ****** :) We have had no problems with the temp control, we set it and leave it. The fridge is also located near our built-in ovens and appears to be well insulated. I would recommend this fridge to a future buyer. We're currently shopping for a counter depth fridge, but I'm sad to think of the storage we'll be sacrificing for floor space. It's been a great purchase for our family.

I purchased this to match my stove and microwave but now wish I didn't. The quality is poor, the doors do not sit straight and the cold water dispenser give out room temp water. The water out of my sink is colder, what gives? The ice maker is very loud, not only when the tray fills, but when the ice is pushed out of the tray. When you get ice out of the front, it shoots it everywhere as well. I am half temped to take it back and get a better one.

I like this model. It keeps everything cold, makes ice and I like having the indoor water dispenser for the kids to use. The icemaker makes noise, but I would expect that from any icemaker. Otherwise, it makes all the same small noises as any refrigerator. You're going to hear the motor kick on and off, no matter how much money you pay. It's just a given. This is a great refrigerator with a lot of storage space and plenty of options for a great price.
