Pretty nice April 03, 2011
I like it,the only thing is that it is kinda noise. but since it's in the kitchen, I can't hear it from my bedroom, that's good enough.
The sears workers who set it up, they didn't turn on my water, so the freezer can't make ice. They didn't setup the bottom of thie legs either. My husband and I had to work hard on setting them up ourselves.
I never receive survey phone call from sears.

Upright freezer by Kenmore is not energy efficient August 07, 2010
It is felt that the freezer is not energy efficient because the surface of the door is very cold to the touch when felt in a hot room. A refrigerator freezer standing next to the Kenmore is much warmer to the touch, even when the inside temperature is the same. The freezer appears to hold the set temperature but the compressor runs a significant amount of the time to keep the temperature at the desired setting. I feel that Sears should investigate this and see if the efficiency can be improved by better insulation of the door.

Quiet & efficient...with a BONUS! January 26, 2012

This unit is extremely quiet...much more so than even other Kenmore units i've seen. It is extremely spacious--with easily useable space--the pull-out drawers are a great addition. The Ice-maker is a huge bonus--it means i'll never run out of ice for a party again! I purchased it as previous model-year close-out...at a HUGE discount...and am EXTREMELY pleased with this purchase.

Pros:
The appearance is great,Keeps food cold,doors close tightI purchased this freezer on a Thursday evening, plugged it in and filled it with half of a beef on Saturday. None of the packages were frozen but by Sunday at noon every package of beef was frozen solid. No rotating of packages and the freezer was not even set on its highest rating.
I believe we got a great buy on this freezer.

Pros:
Keeps food cold,The appearance is great,doors close tightI have not had any issues with this freezer, once you make sure its leveled everything seems to be pretty good, food stays frozen. I have it in an enclosure, so not alot of noise for me any how.
