Bought ours used (with home) and it's working fine. January 06, 2011

I think ours is at least 2 years old. It came with the house. None of the problems mentioned by others. I think the difficult door opening is a built-in feature: if the inside warms up a bit from keeping the doors open, they seal tightly (slight vacuum applied) while trying to get the inside cold again. We keep the ref setting at "2"; works fine.

The Kenmore 25.1 Refrigerator is spacious. December 22, 2010

The refigerator is spacious and fits well in the appointed space. The drawers are large and there is even one for deli items. I also like the adjustable shelving in the door. I wish shelves in the center of the refrigerator were easier to remove for cleaning purposes, as well as the draws. The temperature readings are easy to see and understand. The ice maker has broken several times and has required several visits from the repairman. The arms for the water and ice dispenser are easily broken and they also have required to be replaced on several occasions.

This was one of the least expensive models we saw that had water through the door. It works well. It looks like a more expensive model. It is easy to clean and the outside looks gorgeous. It is hard to fit some wider items in the freezer unless you can turn them on their side. Still, it is a great refrigerator for the price.

The Kenmore side by side refrigeator with pur water filtration is the best thing that has ever come to the Kenmore franchise. Side by Side beautifully stainless steel refrigerator that delicious cozy room for al your fruits and vegetables. Check out Kmart.

have one and it is awesome everyone can own one because sears has layaway. have always had nothing but great service and good experiences with sears. Also love there price match and the rewards program. Sears is who i recommend to all my friends and family. For i have shopped with them for years and always purchase from them and only them.
