Love our new Amana AFF2534FE October 04, 2007
We've only had this frig a week, but we love it. It is very spacious and I like beeing able to see everything in the refrigerator. Freezer is very spacious, ice maker works very well. A big benefit is being able to put pizza in the freezer without scrunching up the box...and best yet, I go this at the Sears Appliance outlet store for a fantastic price. Pull out freezer drawer is better than the door that opens up, and the french doors work will for a tight space between the frig and our island. So far, no problems. Although there is some noise, this is much quieter than our previous refrigerator. We also have a top of the line Kitchen Aid side by side at our weekend house, and I like the Amana better.

moisture and noise August 27, 2007
The flap between the french doors that seals the gap sweats with moisture condensation and that moisture runs down to land on the top of the freezer drawer. Also when closing one side of the french doors the other side tends to pop open (I am not slamming the door) and has occasionally stayed open an inch or so. Also the ice maker is incredibly noisy. The I never noticed the ice maker running on the cheap loaner fridge they let me borrow until this one came in. I could probably deal with the clunking of the ice dumping into the tray but when the devise refills with water it sounds like a garden hose spraying full force against the house. I can hear this thing at night.
