Overall a great value and I am happy with it. March 18, 2009
PROS: A full 18 cu ft fridge does not fit in the 30" wide space I have and was tired of having only a 14 cu ft one. This is a hard to find size and absolutely perfect for the tight space I have to work with. Spacious inside - feels like a full sized fridge with nice glass shelves and drawers for the price. It is quiet. It has seperate controls for the fridge and freezer. The price is great! I got free pick up and haul away included (after rebate) and they price matched when it went on a better sale later CONS: I saw one reviewer mention the freezer door pops open slightly when the fridge door closes - I have noticed this too but doesn't seem to be a problem because it doesn't stay open, still slightly annoying. I had a problem with keeping the white textured handles clean looking in the past. They get dirty looking with normal use, and the texture makes it nearly impossible to clean off even with bleach. This time I taped the handles up while they are still white. I would have preferred either smooth or black handles. Maybe I can replace them? I was not able to have this item delivered for three weeks from the time I ordered/paid which would have been a huge pain if I needed it in a hurry - luckily I didn't. Overall this is a good value and I am happy with my purchase.

It you actually put some meat slices or cheese in the drawer it breaks the tab and the drawer falls. I've had a repairman out twice to replace the side slider, but it will last a couple of weeks and break again. I've just given up and taken out the deli drawer altogether which is a shame because the crisper drawers at the bottom are not big enough to fit the deli overflow. However, it is still a decent refigerator for the price and a good size for my small space.

With the failure of our long time workhorse fridge, a Kenmore, we needed something to replace it. This particular Kenmore fit the bill, and more. The freezer is very spacious, as is the fridge. The large door makes it easy to store gallon jugs and 2 liter soda bottles. We were worried about the reviews that said it was noisy. While it's not whisper silent, it's nothing that would drive you crazy, it's not THAT noticeable when the compressor is on. We have a pantry, anyway, so even if it was noisy, it wouldn't matter. This is a GREAT refrigerator for the price. Couldn't be happier.

Needs Better Freezer Seal August 03, 2008

Roomy fridge with good lighting. However, the seal on the freezer door is not tight enough. The impact of shutting the refrigerator door causes the freezer door to pop open slightly. Weighing down the freezer door with food does not prevent it from popping open slightly whenever the fridge door is shut. The installer said to call Sears because maybe the freezer door seal may not have good enough magnets to hold it tight. I will call Sears for their opinion. Overall it's a good fridge, but this loose freezer door is not acceptable.
