Kenmore  18.2 cu. ft. Top-Freezer Refrigerator

The refrigerator was delivered and the technicians didn't install it properly. They didn't take the foam insulation piece in the back of the refrigerator out so I had to do that myself. We got the brackets on the left and the seal didn't close properly. The technician said it was because they had to switch the brackets to the left. They also didn't give us the cover for the light. When we called Sears, at first they said this model didn't come with a cover and then after a hour of run around, we finally got someone that said it did come with the cover. So now we gotta wait for the light cover and new replacement seal to be delivered. After reading the other reviews, I am very concerned about the quality of this refrigerator. I would not recommend to others. I would invest in a better refrigerator.

I had this refrigerator delivered today and it is too early to submit a meaningful review. However, initial quality appears decent. Positives: - The rounded edge of the doors is appealing. - Refrigerator seems to be solidly built. - Interior lighting is adequate. - Glass shelves increase aesthetics. - Gets cold fairly quickly upon plugging it in for the very first time. Negatives: - I noticed that a piece of thermocol was wedged between the rear wall and the crisper drawer. Not sure how it got there for a new fridge. - Motor hums all the time, so beware if you are placing this near bedrooms. Spoke with a Sears Appliance expert who said the noise was normal for this particular model. - Glass shelf over the drawers does not fit snugly. Since this is a second refrigerator and I have it in the garage, the noise does not bother me. Only time will tell how the unit will perform in the long run.

To make a long story short the fridge is very loud like other reviewers have stated.The fridge stop working within two years...It's unbelievable that in today's technology appliance's die faster than the old reliable appliances..When everything is all said and done spend the extra money trust me you wont regret it like i am regretting right now!!!!!!!

Ok...I purchase this fridge for my Father.....My Father said once he plugged it in ... and came back about an hour or so later the ice had already begun to make.......the deal was $381 out the door...Great dearl...plus I will get my reward points for it.....and cashback.....wowzer!!

I bought this in November 2011. Did not get the extra protection since last one ran for 20 years till we got tired of it. This broke in 14 months - now no freezer or fridge is working. Called Sears - they want me to shell $288 to come and repair. What a ripoff - quality is no good - was barely used since it was in garage and our 2nd fridge. Buyer be aware - not happy at all with this ripoff.

Owned for 1 year. works great. But door handles broke and the door racks.

You get what you pay for. It's decent, basic fridge and it's nice to have a little bit of stainless steel (low quality) in the kitchen. But my freezer door is off level and the bottom weather stripping does not lay properly. If it gets a bit warm/humid in the house, there are big drops of condensation on the bottom of the freezer door. Also, I attempted to clean the stainless steel with a "stainless steal" cleaner wipe and now there are orange blobs all over. I'm going to call Sears and see what can be done...
